AWm vs Dragunov vs Dsr 1

certainly the DSR-1... it does everything that AWM does and then some more on top... AWM is great, but when you use DSR-1 on a consistent basis, you realize how much better it is... staying scoped in is disgusting for long range... and moving around with a sniper rifle is just dumb in my opinion... you can get HS's with AK much faster than you can QS with AWM... only thing is... DSR quickscopes just as well if not better than AWM... people who suggest AWM does have any ACTUAL reason for why its better...
they say its lighter... false
better quickscope... false... different, but not better
but DSR has the option of staying scoped in, shoots faster and you can be more steady in between shots...
AWM reloads faster... that's the only benefit of AWM that I see over DSR
Dragunov= bad, not 1-hit kill -
DSR-1 the superior sniper rifle. Takes time to get used to it. Don't let these AWM nuts scare you or fool you.. They're only saying AWM because they had it and are more familiar with it. Yeah they can say they killed ppl who used the DSR but that's because the DSR is newer than the AWM so people havent gotten totally used to it.
What the DSR offers:
1. single scope for maximum zoom and maximum ability to see a good portion of the field.
2. Semi-Automatic. No need to keep reaching for that bolt. Keeps you scoped in and ready to take another shot.
3. Only bad part of the gun is its reload. But since this is more of a long range sniper, you should be able to find cover and reload without getting killed.
Dragonv is a weaker, quicker version of the AWM. It's not a true 1 shot kill but it's practically everything the AWM is disreguarding the 1 shot kills. -

single scope for maximum zoom and maximum ability to see a good portion of the field.? when you 1x zoom with awm you see wider. + awm is faster when you fast scoping. also with dsr you can kill with no scope ony if enemy are few meters near you. With awm you can do it when enemy are in other map side

okay, I actually had all 3 snipers. The dragunov is sort of like the dsr, and I haven't used it much. The dsr is a nice sniper, but it gets really boring, I usually QS with the AWM, I feel like the AWM is a nice sniper, it looks good, and I feel that the double zoom option is helpful. I'm trying to be as unbiased as i can XD.. DSR1 is more of a stay zoomed in far range, AWM you can do quite a bit more with it. Dunno, just my opinion. I recommend the AWM, though. Well, DSR1 or AWM, mostly AWM XD

I rush in Columbia with a sniper, which is quite good. In sniper only, you need to move. AWm is better as you can shoot/quickscope better, and the dragunov is NOT bad. It's amazing, and is a one hit when you hit it in the stomach. -
In any case if you want to go wogl rules and see which sniper rifle is legit for that league, the AWM and the DSR are both legit. So you can't really say that that DSR is a noob weapon.. And you can't really say that wogl allows noob guns because the k-2, the scar light and the m12 are all banned from wogl play just to name a few..
So there's a bit to work on. It's all on preference on wether you wanna be a quick scoper and run around (awm) or be a little more stationary and not worry about having to zoom back in (dsr). I don't like the double scope because seriously... Why do you need 2 scopes on these maps? and if you are trying to kill someone in really short range, just go no scope. 1x zoom is too far, 2x zoom is a bit too close.. Which is why I like the dsr all in all both are good snipers i just like the dsr since im not a serious sniper it"s good enough to do the job -
I love snipers.
I would choose the DSR-1 because of the Automatic bonus.
If you ever notice when you use a AWM, after you shoot the scope zooms out and you do a reload for one bullet.
When you use a DSR-1 you don't zoom out.
Then we have a Dragunov.
I don't know why anyone would have one unless they got it from crates.
But if you only have an m700 its a better alternative. -

Are you good with the PSG? Then get the DSR, its the PSG on steroids, nuff said.
Are you better with the m700 or a more regular sniper? Then get the AWM.
DSR is nice, and I liked it but I chose the AWM over it eventually. Reloading is slightly faster, but it doesnt seem like it. The "semi automatic scope stays in" feature is only good if youre a monster with the PSG, otherwise it can be quite different and weird then the AWM.
Anyways, the staying in scope feature CAN mess you up if you're used to the awm scope. You should quick switch after most shots anyways, and the DSR makes you take longer to do so. So DSR vs AWM, I would recommend AWM unless you're good with the PSG.
Dragunov, just don't get it. It sounds cool but it isn't that great. It's a 1 hit kill to the head and the stomach? or is it the chest? Either way, it's not always a 1 hit kill. So yeah, AWM>Dragunov.
TO ME, quick scoping is easier with the AWM, and it would probably be for beginners too. So if it was up to me, I would get the AWM. PLUS, its like 12-13k cheaper.
But it's your decision. You could just become a pro with the m700, cause then you would be good AND mad respected.
TL;DR: AWM>DSR>Dragunov IMO.
