paint ball gun

It would be nice to have a paintball gun on cf
(for in Gost Mode) you shoot and if hits a ghost you can see the paint on his body so its easyer to kill the Ghost

or a paint grenade it explode and you can see the gost for a pair of seconds.

though to balance this out. How about if they run through water, the paint washes off. otherwise it would be impossible to play as BL

of if they run to smoke or something I was thinking it to but not in every map is so much water.

maybe something like each paintball splat lasts for 5-10 sec? but i cant see someone going into ghostmode using a gun that (presumably) doesnt do any damage. I think a paintball nade is a more sensible idea like the mutation nade.

Maybe the paint could last for 5 secs so the ghost could escape. I'm going with the paint grenade.

to grenade: yes, the best idea i have ever heard

to paint guns: no no no no. all the noobs would shoot blind with their guns. and now think of that with a thompson, "badly". when there would be paintball guns allowed than this would be very unfair for BL. ghost mode is called ghost mode because you cant see the enemy very good.

In fact: grenades: yes, but only with the 5 sec

For my opinion the gameplay wouldn't be as it use to be. I mean its not very total action, suppose to be real guns. Also it might not be fair the BL.

EDIT: I think this thread is suppose to be in suggestions.

Paintball gun: yes

Should only be included if it's a MAIN WEAPON, SINGLE SHOT and has a very low ammo capacity. Say 1 bullet clip, 4 clips in total like standard rifles. Paint should be permenant given how low the chances are of people hitting a good ghost with it, should make a splat on the ghost and make the ghost's direction visible on minimap.

Paint grenade: Not in GM, but for MM. Again, perm and makes mutants' position visible on minimap.

NEITHER should do damage.
