Rent Roblem!

Vent Problem, help.

I get this message when I log onto vent:

"Unable to activate DirectSound for selected device.
DirectSoundCaptureCreate failed. HR=DSERR_NODRIVER. No sound driver is available for use"

It was after I update realtek.

I can hear every sound vent makes, except people talking.

Help?

For RealTek:

I had trouble with this too. Excpect it was... TS3
I suggest restarting your computer or re-installing RealTek. Helped me.

Restarting comp does nothing and re-installing realtek??Where do get?

Go to the manufacture site or find out your mobo and find the drivers which should be provided on your manufacture site.

But I have the latest version.

If you had it working before.....follow this. Hit start then right click on computer. Select manage then device manager. From there go to sound,video, and game controllers. Then open realtek and go to drivers...select roll back driver. Hit ok...restart pc.

If it's Vista, re-install.
If it's windows 7, re-install. xD
