Does a good mouse help?

I was thinking of getting bookoo amounts of zp Monday for the upcoming patch. But all I really need is my Ak, M4, AWM and deags. So I was looking into a nice mouse. The mouse I have now is a stock Dell, And is dieing. So a new mouse will be instore at some point. But I was looking at gaming mouse, and was thinking of not getting zp Monday, and get a new mouse.

Questions:
Does a gaming mouse help in game more?
What should I be looking for if I do get a gaming mouse?
How has your playing progressed since you have used a gaming mouse?

The mouse I am looking at is the R.A.T.7 or the 5. The 5 is more in my range honestly. Anyone have any ideas on that? Or what would be a good gaming mouse for around 50 bucks. The next week, Most deff I will be getting headphones Those who know me, will let you know I do not use sound. But still play around a 2.0 in scrims. So I was thinking with a "real" mouse, and SOUND I should be a better all around player. Right? O_o

It's really personal preference. Any mouse is fine but it's up to player whether you want more speed in a mouse or more comfort or what not.
I use a wireless regular mouse, does the job for me.

Ture story. I dont like to bandaid my ego by saying this but; For the past week or so my mouse has been dieing, while in game. Or will glitch and I will be looking at thr ground. So getting a new mouse is a deff. But I see what your saying. Thank you ^_^

well yea sometimes a better mouse helps.but its all up to you do u want to do faster kills(fast drags with sniper) or do u want normal mouse for not to be fast for you(i think sounds idiotic lol xD )well i strongly recommend mouses that u can setup your dpi like this one:

well ofc this is my mouse i can put as 400 dpi,800,dpi and max 2000 dpi
that is the best mouse for ya.

Get a cheapo steelseries or razer.

Even microsoft and logitech have good mice for low costs.

As far as I'm concerned gaming mice are worth the price, but don't buy something just because. Go read reviews on it....and if you're going to invest in a mouse then you need to invest in a mousepad as well. Wooden desk + $80 mouse = wear and tear.

DO NOT GET THE RAT SERIES. I bought one and returned it the next day, there is no polling rate options, etc..

Get a steel-series or razer

Personally i don't find gaming mouses any helpful, but i sure did find a gaming mouse pad worth it.

I suggest laser mice that's 150+ DPI.

150 DPI with a full hand motion can only get you across the screen with a 180 (50 sensitivity).

I won CAL-Main with a stock DELL ball mouse.

No it doesn't matter which mouse as long as you can consistently use it well.

Either a steelseries Xai/Logitech g500 ( same laser ), along with a steelseries 4HD/9HD. The Xai and g500 glitch on cloth pads. Ive got a g500 with a steelseries 4HD and i can safely say my performance has increased. The set i got costs around 80-90$ btw.

Get one that does not have a tail and teeth . So long it does not bite you then it will work fine.
You need one with a left button , a right one as well , the wheel . and without BALL.;)

Ye hes right, i got this fancy little razor thing for xmas from the sister lights up blue looks all sexi n stuff.......still in the box, £10 asda mouse best £10 i ever spent had it for almost a year still going strong....

A good 30$ will done you fine, gaming mouse just comes with more DPI,more sensitivity more buttons and they last a hell of a long time.
