Failed to connect to server

I click start game, and xtrap loads up as normal, no delay at all. It gets to the login screen. As soon as it should allow me to input my password, a box pops up with "Failed to connect to server." Doesnt let me put in my pass or nothing. Just pops up with that box and an ok button that closes the game.

Any help?

Try turning your firewall and anti-virus off when u play CF.

Thats what sloved it for me.

Didn't work. Uninstalling and reinstalling for some reason didn't work either. Not sure whats wrong with it.

Are you lagging? If you are make your computer faster by closing programs.

It could be 1 of 3 major things i've had problems with:

1. You could have been hacked by someone/a friend is playing your account and it kicks you because they're on.

2. When the game is loading it takes awhile and when the login screen finally pops up it kicks you for "idling".

3. The server is either in maintenance/update and won't allow anyone on.

-- These are reasons why i get that box quite a few times, not sure if you'll have the same problem.

1. It's not that, because I dont even get the chance to log in. As SOON as the game loads to the login screen, it comes up as "Failed to connect to server". Doesnt give me a chance to login at all

2. The game has always given me something along the lines of "data cannot be input due to idleing" or something close to that. But it always gives me that AFTER I try to log in and ive been idle. Never caused by the game loading slow.

3. Doubt its this. Or z8 would've posted something

I just had it too, but it was because I downloaded something. When it finished, I was able to play.

I havent downloaded anything but music in the last 24 hours. The downloads for the music were completed FOREVER ago yesterday, so its not that causing it either.
