Sooo no matter what video editor I seem to use, it always does the same thing. Randomly freezes, and will not unfreeze. Windows Movie Maker, Sony Vegas, they both lock up. I had the same problem with my old computer, but I thought that was just because of the fail amount of Memory and Ram on that one. My new computer is decked out and amazing, but it's still doing the same damn thing. Can anyone tell me why it does this or how I can fix it? Please and Thank you.

Maybe a bad computer? =/

if your computer runs crossfire slow, don't be surprised it will have problems editing videos.

Umm I have a quad core, 4GBs of Ram (3.74GB's still usable), an ATI graphics card with 2GB's of ram, and 686GB's of memory (with 563 GB's still free..).

My computer is pretty worse but it runs Sony Vegas 9.0 with no trouble at all... strange o_o

did you defrag your disk? most troubles with videoediting arise because of fragmented disks.

Umm not on this computer o.o; I usually do it every few months, this isn't even a month old.

Run a memory test.

Ram could be bad $:\$

I doubt it's a ram problem though.

You would more than likely get an OOM error and crash.
