Is it illegal if you give a friend or a friend gives you an account?

Lol my friend wants to give me an account cus he won't play anymore and he's never even bought zp on it XDI dont get why thats not allowed i mean if they give it too you isnt it there property since they spent money on it and now they are giving it too you ? Just doesnt seem right, but i dont make the rules. -
But what if the guy literally doesn't want it? If he just doesn't want it or makes a new account and doesn't need anymore, what's the complication?

It doesnt matter. Selling, buying, trading and giving away accounts are against the ToS. There are many obvious reasons as to why that is. -

Friend1 gives Friend2 an account. Friend2 changes password to the account. Friend1 wants the account back. Friend2 does not want to give it back. Friend1 gets mad, starts rants on CF Forums about how his account got hacked and that Friend2 is a "BR hacker".
See how things like this can get escalated that fast? That's why giving accounts SHOULD stay forbidden, albeit it happens all the time. -

And no, you can have multiple accounts, but just don't give any of them away. -

The example is for all people in general. Maybe you and your friend are cool with it, but other people won't, and problems arise. Just try not to give accounts away so much. -
Receiving accounts are very dangerous. I had an ex-clan member tell me his friends all quit cf, and after 3 weeks, he played with at least 5 different accounts, all with 2nd Rank or higher. LOL. And he asked me if he could play on my account. HA! Maybe he sold those accounts, or what ever he did. OH AND BTW, SELLING ACCOUNTS IS A MAJOR NO NO!!!
