Saving Key Settings

I recently got a Dvorak keyboard and every time I leave a server or quit the game it loads the default wasd and i have to re-edit the key settings every time. but it does remember other settings like sound levels and graphics settings.

I've had the same problem for about a year. lol
I've got an Italian key board and there's nothing to do about it.
After a while you will just learn to do it automatically.

Man that is LAME! i mean how hard is it to save settings! that is VERY VERY important.

If it matters that much to you, get a bog standard keyboard go into the game edit it, save it, leave the game put your orginal keyboard in, restart the game. Hopefully problem solved?

you dont get it... it wont SAVE! i can play just fine once i reset all the keys. but then it will not remember them for next time.

I ran into the same problem but didn't search the forum before I started a new thread. Sorry Z8 guys. Anywho... Anybody find a fix for it yet? I really don't like having to change it every time. It would be a long shot asking Z8 to patch it because thats a lot of work for the very few people who use the vastly superior Dvorak layout

Its a shame that we have to submit to the standard of the QWERTY layout just because people are all just a part of the system...
I'm not serious but it was fun writing all of that... and a heck of a lot faster than someone would type it on QWERTY.

just a thought : set your keys...save...exit/logout (dont play)....login......did they save?

..its first thing i do after logging into wanted server...about 2 and half years
