Now for some reason i cant find another default button to change so i can plant C4 on S&D maps. I reset all my settings back to default to rectify the problem and still cannot plant C4.

plant C4 with E? i plant that with mouse klick :S (press first 5 to get tha bomb or scroll than klick)

When you plant the bomb, it is similar to shooting somebody. When you have the C4 as the selected equipment, you just simply hold the LEFT CLICK of your mouse pad in the designated planting zone. ( A SITE OR B SITE ) Hope I helped a little but reinstalling Crossfire should bring back the default settings. I can also assist you through teamviewer if you would like.

OR maybe.. You dont have the bomb.

Do it the same way you did to make the change at first then. this means that you go back in option then you select the change you vant to do and press the letter that was ( Default ) and put it back .
Example " E = Defuse C4 . then go on the line that with option for Defuse C4 then click on it then click on E and it will set it back .":)
Another possibility is to have a friend who has the default setting and give you a copy of his Z8 file found in the Program file , then replace it by overwriting the one you have on your pc.
