Why can't I receive inbox messages?

I just got someone to send me one to see if I would receive it.

Hate to sound noobish, but did you save your settings when you enabled PM's?

Were you able to recieve PM's before?

Did you recieve an infraction that prevented you to recieve other PM's? idk

Just asking questions to understand a little more
