I'm not saying this is accurate but its viable. Internet is all routers. If one breaks down, you might get an absolutely terrible route.
Obviously the straight line will get the better ping (in an ideal world), while the long one going to South America has to go through their terrible infrastructure.
Doesn't have to take that way of course, I'm sure America has its fair share of bad networking.

Ha yeah wow, hardest part of trying to run an online game I guess. Dealing with all these QQ's about reskins and chars and hackers must be hell on top of that.
While I have you hear there are no plans for a Aus server right? I'd just like to hear it from the mods for once. I was thinking about trying CF phillippenes but hey, ive already got my ak gold and most GP crate weapons -

MSPaint gets me all excited.
Anyway it doesn't take much to make a huge difference on ping.
Germans, french people and even brits can vouch for that, getting >200 ping on the UK servers. -

OT: pt ans spain are two poor countries (pt>poor than spain). Gers don't lag, do they? People always think I'm GER coz of my 50 approx ping. Dunno why they think only GERs ger that ping rofl. Never seen lagging GERs though -

A really good internet in pt can give you 35 stable ping. You definitely should not talk about what you dont know. -

I was just stating facts. Many players with PT in their name get 200+ ping on uk servers.
If you get 35 then it's cool for you. Even thouh I'm kinda sceptic on how you can get 35 from so far... Optic fiber? Uk or US servers? -

Some people don't realize that gaming on wireless is a bad idea.
I use a 35€ dlink wifi key and am like 10-20meters far from my internet box. I get 50-60. When I use a ethernet cable (which crosses the corridors and goes down the stairs) I get 47-48.
My bad if GERs lag I just haven't noticed.
EDIT: Wish, I had forgotten about UK 5 XD. -
Don't know much bout how ping works but maybe it's only about the time packets arrive to your computer and arrive to servers. But with wireless packets are lost but those which aren't still taje the same to to arrive so you are faking to not lag. Something like that...
