IMO, they aren't OP but they are a fairly good gun. They are similar to spas-12, but they don't have much damage reduction. Yes, you can get really lucky and get a hs mid distance, but long dist the chances are so low... It has low ammo, and unlike the other shot guns it reloads all bullets at once.

It's different, it's a good gun, it's not really OP.
