How many cores does CrossFire Use?

I'm getting a new computer and I'd like to know how many cores crossfire can use, no point getting a 6 core processor if it uses 1 core.

  • Most people who buy better computers move on to more graphically demanding games anyways.

To answer your question, I have no idea.

1 but with hyperthreading so called making a virtual core I would say 2 core's of minimal 2 Ghz is enough for Crossfire but than you need at least 2 GB of ram and I would say a 512 mb Graphic card to get around the 80 a 100 fps

But dude I would say keep the 6 core trust me Crossfire will not exist forever ...
There will be more fun games in the future so a 6 core cpu is perfect investment for the future

6 core with 6 gb ram with a 1 GB of graphic card is perfect! for the future if you wanna keep on gaming beyond just Crossfire

I'm probably getting a 4 core intel CPU, it seems to be the best for mid-graphic games (and it's up there for demanding games such as starcraft 2). Probably going to get sapphire 6850 or something like that, its about the 5th best graphics card in the world.
