One of the benefits of being au solitaire is not having to participate in these commercialized holidays. Shouldn't need an occasion to buy your lady a few dozen roses. Of course, there are better ways to show your love than killing a bush. -

yeah,im very romantic too always when she comes to my house :P i try to sing and play some good,made up songs on my guitar and theres nothing stupid about being romantic -
Actually, and I'm not trying to be mean here, it sounds rather selfish to say the least. IMO, I would take her somewhere memorable, create memories and capture them in pictures. Make it another trip together to have them developed (or if you're into photography and have an SLR, develop them yourselves). You could later buy a set of frames and have her choose the pic for your frame and you do the same for hers.
