Yeah..i haven't tried these two weapons yet. which one do you recommend. btw, i dont really like high recoil gun also if you have better gun to suggest feel free to suggest it to me (gp gun only

the power of m4a1 is not too much. but yeah its a good gun also its one of my favourites.

I just play with GP, ( ZP fails ) but for me ak is the best ...

TAR-21 is the best... QBZ is alright too... a lot of people like XM8 but for me too slow of firing rate...

but to answer your question M4A1 is a lot better than Type89... actually I think Type89 is one of the worst guns in the game... just so so so weak!

m4 is good but if u can handle recoil then go with ak!! AK is BEAST!

Get the M4, if you want even a better gun for around the same price, get an AK-47.

You need to play with both guns because this 2 guns are very skilled.
If you play with M4A1 better so take it and with Type the same.
It's only your decision but I think it's best to try this rifles: K2;Type89;AK47;AK74... or better to say look on the ESL rules and read which weapons are not able to use it on ESL.
Try all the guns which are able and you will see on which gun you have the most skill.
And if you found it play with it and get perfection
