I don't completely know what you are referring to, but my buddy system hasn't crashed in a very, very, long time.

Did anyone else get a bug where it said you were logged in when you werent? Bella said I was ingame but not in a room or the game lobby o.O I'm guessing its a glitch from the buddy list going down but I changed my email and password just to be safe xD

that happens, probably due to server lagg that didn't register quickly enough the fact you logged out...
