Spiking ping.

well, recently I've been experiencing huge ping spikes. I usually average 12 ping in echo but for the past while (since our last WOGL match) I've been CONSTANTLY spiking up to 500 ping
what's the fix?

Do this whenever you're spiking:

Start -> Run -> cmd.exe -> tracert 74.200.6.155
and screenshot the results. IP above is Echo's IP

as I tried to do this, my ping became the most stable it's been in over 3 weeks $:\$

I spike ALL the time, it really messes with me
and I know 15 spikes around 9PM
I had to play our last WOGL match @ 400 ping $:\$

Have you contacted your ISP yet? If it continues, tell them to get better, or find another service provider..

This. I've had the same ISP for years and I've had non-spiking 15 ping for the past 2 years on CF. But since last patch a bunch of people have been having odd spiking.

Contact the campus admins / office and ask them what's going on with your internet, and why it's so slow.

You can't know that for sure, lol. 2 years ago I had stable 130 ping on NA servers, now I have to wait until midnight my time to scrim in Echo with my team, because during the day my ping on Echo reaches 350. Turned out it was my ISP's fault, one of the routers my packets are going through got screwed. Doesn't seem like they're going to fix it anytime soon, though. That's why I asked moch to do tracert. From that we'll find out whether it's his ISP's fault or not.

If it's my ISP there's really very little I can do....I have the best deal around cause I've been with them for so long (without changing my plan)
I have UNLIMITED internetz @ a decent speed for $40/month

I have a normal ping of 19-25 from 7am-5pm(central) than it goes to like 100-170. Than it goes back normal at like 9pm. No one goes on my internet. And its not my isp. It has happened ever since this last patch. And it sucks, lol.
