Pinpoint is when u use any sounds that ghosts make to their advantage. U hear a breathe behind you, you turn around and spray hoping that the ghost hasnt killed you yet. If u hear footsteps, you could figure whos they are (ghost or teammate) and have ur gun aiming at possible places that the ghost may be.
Only other term is shooting at the obvious hiding places that ghosts like to hide at.

Pinpointing is determining a players location (not just on GM any mode, really) using the sounds they make when walking, breathing, falling.

The easiest to hear are the sounds people make when falling from too high, walking on water, wood, or metal.
