Hcgw check to 93% then game doesnt start.

Hello,

i've checked numerous threads about game install errors, game crash and hcgw related problems. But it seems that you guys are just unable to give a proper answer to this problem.

Yeah yeah the "please uninstall then redownload and reinstall" answer is just completely noob and useless, as this technical support forum seems to be...

Anyway, i hope that someone will be able to help me and a lot of other users.

When i launch Crossfire, crossfire patcher opens then closes, Xtrap window opens then closes, and then Hcwg window opens, goes to step 10, 93%, then closes.
And after that, crossfire.exe appears in the process manager but disappears right after, then nothing.

Did anyone one having the same issue fixed it ? Please tell me how. And please dont tell me to check the clean install forum thread as i did 20 times; Its full of stupid answers like: Install crossfire, sing elvis presleys song while turning around for 20 times and then game should launch properly, if not uninstall windows.. etc

You guys really like to NOT give answers... yeah the ones who are supposed to moderate this technical support forum.
Just learn to read posts and do your job instead of spending your daytime playing compter games.

This problem as been told 100 times and no one ever give an answer... seriously... just **** off noobs.

ok first off, this is a forum, not a customer help desk, other people like myself just answer these to our "hearts delight".

second off, * offing us doesn't really entice us to actually want to help you, rather we should respond to said OP with some more hostile post and develop that to a flame war.

Since you keep referencing the sticky on the clean install, I suppose you have already tried it, and the problem persists,

Have you tried resetting your windows?
Have you posted in the OTHER threads already made, and got your problem known in the growing discourse community of the same problem.
Did you submit a ONE ticket and WAITED a response?

and finally, if you truly do want help, why do you treat us like a pile of dog feces?

But now this is happening for about 2 weeks....

Hey !

I've just resolved my problem on my Windows XP SP3, i just tried to uninstall Internet Explorer 7 after a list of software and then its working now !!

Now i'm on version 6 but nvm, dont know if IE8 would resolve the problem, try it maybe.

BTW if i can help anyone of you, ask me.
