Account closed due to a temporary hold or chargeback?
I haven't purchased any ZP in about 2 months, today this message randomly appears.
Usually when you login you see the amount of the chargeback, the transaction ID, date it was done, vendor who did it (i.e BuddieShops)
I see NOTHING when i login.
Just redirects me to a webform with a blank GID.

I'm pretty mad about this, random chargeback just appears out of nowhere after months of doing nothing and i see no reason for it.
After the account is closed for a chargeback, can you pay money (i.e moneyorder) to get the account back?
However, this chargeback seems invalid. No reason for it and I haven't done anything to trigger it.

I've got the same problem as of today just the same. Just like you I have not made any purchases in months and previous to this all purchases where made in good standing. Anyone have any idea whats going on I couldn't even post on the forums to make this post on my main account. I've spent alot of money and have all the guns i could ever want so some sort of response or reason would be nice.

Instead I'm responding to you through an alt account because I have no ability to respond any other way. I will say this if the issue isn't resolved this will be the last time I spend any money on anything z8. -

My account is very valuable to me and I would not do anything to ruin that, help us restore our accounts. I'm a gold bar as of a month ago been playing since beta legit completely so yes I understand completely. -

rofl didnt know that gambit got taken out.... sigh no more free zp from 1 min clips....
oh I never got this chargeback either.... maybe you should contact their support too?

After looking at the message from the other login yes, its a gambit transaction chargeback for me as well. Can we get a mod looking into this. Gambit has screwed at least a couple of us and we really need help. To the idea of going to gambit, try to find them now I dare ya. Yeah I already tried that and number 2 why would I want to deal with a company that just screwed me over for no reason, I'll take my chances with z8.

First off, if you fill out a survey or use any of the ZP features in the Survey section of the site. The area where you have to click on the agreement button that says we are not responsible. Then you could run the risk of these things happening if you use fake information.
Now before you bowl me over with replies saying you're perfectly legit etc etc. We are looking in to whats happening here and will have more back on this as we go. -

A few questions regarding this issue,

You'd generally receive a reply saying, "I DID NOTHING [insert insult and threats here] I SPEND ALOT ZP ON DIS ACCOUNT MEN I NOT HAPPY WITH Z8" but you'd receive less help that way.
All in all, I can swear I did nothing to deserve this.
I filled out every survey with 100% accurate information, my full name, DOB, address, I've even received letters on the offers (Mostly insurance for my Buick.)
Also, I didn't quite understand how a 'free' survey gateway can create chargebacks on FREE offers, that concept just doesn't register in my mind.
Nevertheless, the main question at hand is, will we be able to get our account back doing any type of action or payment or should we just wait until more information is found? -

OK, So Basically all i've gotten out of this is that, with z8games raging Gambit out of its sponsors, Gambit somewhat either had a glitch in the system, or is Raging back at z8games, telling them they need to pay back what Gambit gave them, and then z8games is making us pay by giving us chargebacks and telling us NOTHING bout it. Or This is in fact just a huge glitch in the site and servers and they'll unban our accounts when they can, Because Im pretty sure theres a lot more ppl out there who got this message when they logged on, and so I think it'll all pass over eventually ( hopefully ) So, I suggest that everyone rights a support ticket to z8 games so that they end up knowing whats happening and they will check into it and maybe fix the problem.

Thats just it I don't do surveys. It really seems like Gambit decided to stick it to us on the way out. The only offers I did in the past was things like netflix trials, and watching the video's on Gambit. Like I said the last time I did anything was months ago and it was watching videos. If gambit did decide to chargeback out of spite can we at least be permitted to get our account back in good standing considering it probably amounts to less than a dollars worth of zp whatever it is(the video's are literally 100 zp a piece or less it seems.). -

Very much so, more than 3+ users (in this forum anyway, definitely more than that) just don't receive chargebacks by Gambit in the same day.

Honestly, the last offer i remember doing on Gambit was something like InsureMe4Less and they called me in the same hour confirming my quote request.
Watch this happen, in the end;
"We can't do nothing for you, it was all you're fault pay all the money you ever earned in ZP via MoneyOrder to Canada"

Almost 300 in less than 24 hours, clearly other people are having the issue too but are unable to post due to lack of knowledge to create alternative accounts to post on the forum and clear cookies so it will work. -
Some specific things here.
First off:

Secondly, it's actually not possible for us to tell WHOS fault is it.
Gambit tells us when there has been fraudulent information used, and they in turn say the account has incurred a chargeback with them (basically some dispute or money owing or fake info etc) and then we are forced to put that on the account.
It is going to be your responsibility to talk to them about this particular transaction. They should then be able to provide information as to what happened. Which can either have the account restored if everything was legitimate. Or have some further requirement by you to have the chargeback paid to them or us.
We took the Gambit Surveys down because we wanted to stop this from happening further until we can get more information from them, or sort out what is going on with the accounts that were affected.
But ultimately it will be an issue between you and Gambit. We are working on a better solution to this (other than using the email provided in the post above). But for now this is the best course of action.
Understand that some users who are affected will have used legitimate information and maybe got burned for some other reason. And others will have tried to get free ZP using Fake Information. From our side there is no difference between these two, Gambit is the one to be able to sort out what happened. -
I have a feeling this is very widespread. Gambit has screwed a fair amount of people and I hope Z8 makes it right. I look at it this way. They make the situation right for us I am more inclined to continue my spending on crossfire(10 to 20 dollars a month when I have the money). Now conversely they say sorry bout your luck and they not only lose that money that I normally put into their game but they will get alot of negative feedback from upset players telling friends don't bother with the game this could happen to you.
As far as gambit goes thats just it after noscript wouldn't clear the video and kept bringing up the same video even after I clicked accept script they just banned me. No I have never done surveys through them and the only offers I did required a credit card which I provided. So again if the system screwed up on video's due to no script just let us know what we can do. Gambit still owed me over 20000 zp when they closed my account on a past offer that required a credit card so I always assumed it was them not wanting to pay that.(it had been 6 months I provided screenshot proof)
I'll work with z8 and would be happy to put my account back on good standing but to say you have to work with gambit I don't see that happening. -

And you can work with us to restore your account, however it will require paying the chargeback off in full.
Working with Gambit will be required for those that don't want to follow this path, and also for cases in which case you think the transaction was legitimate or whatever.
So there are outs, but we are trying to provide you guys with as much direction and support as we can. -

I'm just happy you'll allow us to pay whatever gambit did. It still irks me that they had the nerve to run some random chargeback all the while still not paying me the 20k zp they still owed me. Trust me I fought them for six months they aren't paying. But whatever screw gambit they can rot just tell me whatever the amount is and I'll gladly pay it to get my account in good standing.
Once again thx for working w/ us. Like I said I've been a loyal customer since the game went live and didn't want to see my account banned for something like this. Paying some small amount of cash is no problem and I look forward to getting my account back asap. -
See, This is where it get's really dumb, Why on earth would we pay for something we didn't do ? I am quite positive that this is only a glitch in the system, I contacted Gambit through email, so I am waiting for their response to this. Also Trust me 5 people in my clan have the problem, and 14 other one of my friends have said to be having the same problem too. So Check into it faster z8games, also I think the supports should answer the freakin support tickets quicker.

Good luck dealing w/ gambit. I would rather pay 20 cents or whatever the amount is to simply avoid dealing w/ them. Apparently you've never waited 2 months for them to respond to a deal that you completed( I always take screenshots of completed offers) only to have them ask for the proof again 2 months later and the process to repeat. Again I have never given false information and I don't do surveys(I think they chargeback a watched video) but I don't care I just want account access and even if its 20 dollars it still beats waiting months for Gambit to do something which they won't. -

First there is NO BANK CHARGE(which would be the 10 dollars you are talking about, read the other thread again) as the other thread talks about so it amounts to you paying whatever the revoked charge was. An example was mine, if the video pays 100 zp and you consider the fact that 1000 zp amounts to a buck give or take then 100 zp would amount to 10 or 20 cents. Again I'm going for the easy resolution which is contacting Z8, do I think I should owe a dime? NO I didn't give fraudulent info I don't do surveys and the only offers I did required a credit card(would be tough to give false info) or the videos( not sure how you give false info on vids you watch) but whatever I pay the difference and can be free of the crap company that is gambit. -

$10 bank charge will not happen for stuff like this. You'll pretty much only have to pay for whatever ZP you got.
10000 ZP = .$8.99
.1000 ZP = ~$0.899 (90 cents)
..100 ZP = ~$0.0899 (9 cents) -
From my personal experience gambit doesn't behave in the most professional manner. At times dealing w/ their support trying to get the last 20k zp I was owed I felt like they were just messing w/ me in the responses dragging me along. Imagine sending a screenshot showing the proof of purchase on something that is supposed to credit you 20k plus in zp and they take 2 months to respond with the canned statement if you could provide us proof of transaction we can help you get this resolved. All the while they hold the exact thing they are asking for in their hands. I send it again and a month later I see something posted saying issue resolved and the whole ticket is simply closed.
The video situation I would watch each of the videos each week for a bit of zp, nothing much but it adds up. The hitch I have to approve each vid through no script in fire fox. All was fine til one day I click to approve I watch the vid and go to next seems normal. Then I look and it bring that same 1 one saying I hadn't completed it. I watch again never seeming to get credit. Next day banned from gambit no response no reason.
Like I said I'll just pay whatever gambit screwed me over, I'd rather just get on with my life. I reported them to the bbb as well, gambit gets enough compliants with similar situations and their company rating will slip. -

when u complete 100 surveys and they give u a big 0 Zp, Z8games do nothink. Now what? U wake up and start to ban some people because they are not capable to verify if an informatio is real or not?
