Katana in GM

just want to see everybody opinion about the katana in Ghost Mode...can't be bothered with the opinions in game "katana noob -.-".

is it really cheap?

It aint no shovel, it's slow, left click is rather weak..

The Katana might be the hardest melee to use...
People just spam left click with the knife. Same goes with axe. 0 skills. Shovel has that bug which makes it annoying. Katana is...balanced IMO.

Katana shows its real speed that's supposed to be there at anytime, in GM. It's speed is supposed to be equal to the shovel in any mode, but when you're not a ghost you move at a really slow speed. When you're a ghost you're overall speed with the Katana increases, making it equal to the shovel.

The Katana is actually a decent melee weapon because it takes skill to master the timing on it. The slashing on the Katana is horrible.

The katana is great if you can master it. In GM, when your BL, I pull out the katana and get the ace sometimes. And like what someone else said, when you hold down the right click, you don't lose your speed, which is awesome. And the right click actually kills people with armor too. So... People with armor... Suck my katana.

Katana is best in GM... Hold down Right click for the whole game and when u need it you just release. (You won't slow down like you normally do when holding it)

Katana takes the most skill next to the knife. Timing is key and requires alot of patience and control. If one can manage that and still move about and play effectively, you probably have a more deadly ghost than an axe or a shovel. Its quicker than a shovel to kill, light decently in GM, and the key thing, quiet.

In GM it is indeed a slightly overpowered weapon. Al these people going on about mastering the timing, are talking out of their asses. You just need to hold down the secondary mouse button until you're in range and can release it. There is far less chance of missing with a katana, then there is with say an axe. And with the range it has, Global Risk practically stands powerless against it, if its in the hands of even only an average bunny hopper.

I as samurai expert say

This weapon is easy for GM but for any other MOD it sucks ballz!

All I need to do is right click and hold it down bhop a little bite around
and bam gotcha b**ch

and the timing it takes 10 minutes to get to know it thats all!

P.s this Katana is no were near to a real katana!

The only melee weapon that is considered noob, in my point ov view, is the shovel. It is bugged and has a stupid delay.

So Katana is a fine. Because it is heavy.
