Doing my usual checkup routine

I'm kinda curious where CF is on in the standpoints of the large checklist we have going on here. There's been quite a notable increase in staff and those who are respectable to handle or make sure such things are on task after all. So allow me to inquire about the things here:

-Issue on Unique items (such as Holiday hats) being notified to the general public. I haven't seen any notes of such. A very important change since Halloween after all.

-French ToS and Registration updates. Also no word on that.

-Code of Conduct FAQ. A desperately needed post for those who are quite hesitant to post anything for fear of the shadowy banhammer because of vague notes, still not displayed. Even an incomplete FAQ section is better than none.

-Rival Factions. I don't think I need to say more on this issue. Heck, I miss the story more than anything. You wouldn't happen to have it all on TXT since it'll probably remain dead, would you? I'm curious of the ending.

These are basically the main 4 things I was hoping would be a bit more of a priority to the community and game aspect. But I'm still rather curious why not just one, but all 4 of these seemed to have been left in the dust?

There's probably more but I can't think of anything. So far the new year's resolution of actually working on such things isn't faring too well in the company outlook. January is almost done, I'm curious if they meant 'next year' or this one? Because really, I'd rather not wait till 2012 for CF to finally do something. XD

Yes, the Code of Conduct is posted, this I know. But there was also supposed to be a FAQ database for vague penalties.

And I found it was rigged from the start, but it never stopped me from enjoying the story and having something to aim for.

You really should learn to read forum rules before you post. Its people like you such a system was put in place. Contribute to the topic next time. Trolling is not welcome here. All the more reason the FAQ should be posted.

As for the CoC, I've read it and I don't see why it needs an FAQ, it's pretty standard stuff. Aside from distiguishing between what a major and minor violation is, I can't think of any way it could be made clearer.

Regarding the french ToS/Registration, I can't really say anything. Were we at one time promised one? Do we really need one?

Rival factions ended because they couldn't make ESC mode work with it (the wins/loses didn't count I think) from what I can remember, but don't take my word for it.

Wow they really snuck the Hat thing in there didn't they? I doubt anyone noticed such, especially since it was added afterwards.

As for the CoC FAQ, things like the fine lines of Redundant Threads versus Necroposting is also a small issue as well, there's always questions and all of them are common enough to be addressed at the very least. The more knowledge the better. I'm sick of Z8 keeping everyone in the dark, even for minor things.

And yes, the French ToS/Registration was promised, as per my one argument long ago pertaining to such. Instead of having it done in Portuguese/Whateverpopularforeignlanguage for whatever reason they chose to do so. Although we may not need the French one specifically, its still a step in the direction they are SUPPOSED to, which is making it multilingual in the first place. (But we all know they had no trouble doing that for the Registration page amiright?)

Hrm, even if that was the case for RF, they could always do some other way of making such missions exempt or done in other ways than just the mission system. It doesn't need to die because of one thing such as that.

I'm more worried that things that ARE supposed to be planned aren't being planned.
And things that are on the way are generally of little to no value on the large scale.

The problem with this company is that its too private. And thats when people like me dig up every little thing to pick on them about. Or the average forumer bringing stuff to share to show just how outdated and miscared for we really are compared to the other versions. lol

And that is what this post is about. Merely reminding. Its been proven its alot more effective at doing so than PMing Saidin. lol No joke.

There's a difference between not getting a straight answer and not getting one at all. Which, majority of the time is sadly the latter.

As said, just noting such. The Hat issue was at least resolved thanks to a kind forumer, as it was in a spot I had no idea it was put in. (Much to my disappointment, but its sufficient.) Just the other remaining items that I'm curious of.
