Ping Spiking

Since a few weeks ago, my ping has been jumping around. It should be a stable 75, but about every 3 minutes, it jumps up to 1600, and I don't know what the cause of this is. My fps stays the same, about 60, I already run game booster, I've reinstalled cf, i am just out of ideas. Any suggestions guys?

San Diego, California. Yes I have a private wireless connection, not shared with anyone. Internet is provided by Cox. Anything else you need to know for a solution? And thanks for the reply.

I had the same thing a few weeks (Live in Belgium (europe)) , and it just stopped suddenly. Wait till next month..

I had a very similar problem too : lag spikes every 30-60s, from 45 ping to 200-300 (on UK 4). Then I found that video :

Even though I have to think about doing that manipulation everyday I play CF (and everytime I restart my computer) it completely stopped the spikes.

Hmm, L0LSmilyFace, if you're viewing this right now, remember that Iconic dude or something? When we were pubbing today, that guy thats ping was going from 90 to 300 all the way to 1.5K? Maybe it's not his fault, xD

I did that fix and absolutely nothing... Still over 200 ping. I am in the USA so I should have ping under 100, if not at least under 150... NOT 250 and so on... We shouldnt be trying to find backdoor solutions to a problem that has been caused by the game. We should let the staff fix it... that's what they're there for.
