Has anyone encounter this problem ?
CF. Crash then you need to reboot your Pc. but it run like a turtle , or it does not recognize your hard disk ?
This happened to me like 5 times .
First time my pc was like taking years to open Windows , then the second time It did not recognize the HD." I had to open it , unplug the HD cables then reboot" . Third time I had to format the HD totally then reinstall all I had on my PC. Got it yesterday again and slowed my PC. again and today I just overwrite Windows before all crash again.
When this happen it damage the files of the boot sector of Windows.
Just want you to be aware of this problem , and would like to know if anyone got that kind of problem ?

I've seen this on occasion, for various reasons.
How old is the hard drive? Do you have HDD smart monitoring turned on in the Bios? Would it be worth running a hard drive test?
Are you using a sata hdd? Those cables are a terrible design and I've seen it many times when a customer bought a new pc, got it home and the cable was loose so they had intermittent hdd detection when booting.
Any chance you have picked up a boot sector virus from somewhere, which is affecting the master boot record? -

I think that the HD has got nothing to do with the running of the Game . You are the master in PC , what do you think about that ?
BTW. I know the problem of those cables . " Do we have any other cable we can use ?" -

Havent seen any better SATA cables, Piece of sticky tape i guess.
Any crashing, lock-up and the first post yo mentioned about not detecting Hard drive, could definately be caused by a loose or faulty HDD.
Or even Ram, cpu or even mobo issues such as North Bridge overheating (Some are passive cooled with heatsink, some have small fans).
Someone also mentioning the power supply, if that isn't supplying consistent and clean power (no power spikes) that could be an issue too.
No definitive answer, need to test them out one by one.
Once you have excluded the working parts, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the faulty part.
