FAMAS pros and cons?

I was wondering if anyone here can tell me the pros and cons of the FAMAS, and if its worth buying.

It is a nice gun to burst with. The power is decent and accuracy is fine. The only real problem is the ammo, which is 25/75.

I'd say it's more of a close range gun than far range. I've got problems with it's recoil.

True. If you can ak decently then it shoulnd't be much of a problem. The only problem is that it kinda suffers from a power reduction IMHO.

Pros: Semi-Silenced, great close range spray, manueverable, and a 3shot burst ability.
Cons: Ammo guzzler, low ammo in the clips and overall.
It's not a bad gun, but I wish the FAMAS-Camo was for crates or something like it.

Pros: Well, it has a prettty fast Rof.
Sounds like its silenced O.o
Mainly for close ranges
3 shot burst

Cons: omg there r alot..

1. Runs outa amo like REALLY FAST
2. The 3 shot burst isnt mostly a kill with only one burst
3. reload takes a bit too long imo
4. And ofc... THE AMO

25/75 just doesnt cut it for a rifle

pros: if you manage to actually kill some noob with it, people will think that you are uber pro because that gun sucks real hard and can't kill anyone for the life of it...

con: everything... it's just bad... low power, high recoil, not very accurate, not fast enough to compensate for such low power... slow reload, 3 round burst gets you killed, terribly low ammo...

bottom line: absolutely nothing good about it... only cool thing is that you feel special for using it cause no one at all uses it...

it is not worth buying.
pros: burst mode (but it sux alot), fires fast.
cons: 25 bullets/75 bullets, high recoil, bad aim ( if you burst with or with out using the burst mode the bullets fly off.

low dmg and ammo, spray isnt that great

better get m4 ak qbz g36k or whatever

for mid range and close range, you will get some kill as spraying the Famas, which is good
for long range, I feel like the damage decrease over distance so you have to take about 6-8 shot to kill some one at far distance
The Famas have two modes to use, use the right click to switch to triple fire rate, which is like the XM8 Advance on scope and Glock.
Power is like MP5, amo is not much, bursting works the best because of low recoil, I feel comfortable with this gun. Use this gun for Mutant is a bad idea because of it have less amo

In Counter Strike Source... Famas's burst fire is EXTREMELY accurate, sometimes all of the 3 bullets goes directly straight at where you're aiming, 100% accuracy... but in this game, Famas's burst fire recoils alot and very unaccurate when it comes to close range.
Other than that, Famas is the rifle with the fastest rate of fire.

yea that's the real problem, the ammo really isn't great, i wouldn't recommend buying it

I, personally, like the FAMAS. You get used to the recoil, and it's really not that bad at long ranges.
It's not a commando type gun, you run out of ammo before you can get out to the enemy side and slaughter everyone. You really have to check how many rounds you have, and know good spots to reload. Also, make sure you carry your favorite secondary just in case.

I mean, for the price, it's really not that bad. Outclassed by other guns, sure, but not bad.
