Wanna choose a weapon

Hi I'm new to the game ,
i have the M16 (when started) and think of buying a new one
i can afford mp5, mp7 , m4a1
which is better and are they worth or i should wait to afford a better one (what's better??)

M4a1, probably the best all-round non-OP gun in the game.

Perfect for all modes and scenarios.

agreed. MP5 is a nice little smg but wont help for long distance fighting.. meaning you're rather limited.. MP7 has more range but it takes too many bullets to kill just 1 target.
M4 is more balanced. Long range, good damage and a pretty fun spray pattern for close combat.
