I was at school as the "Punk Era" was being born. It did'nt really help me I am afraid to say. But I cannot believe what I hear about your so called teachers. Just dont try to rebel on your own, it cost me a good few decades of disruption and did'nt help anyone. Single out the teachers who are actually "Real" and work with them. Its sad but true that this time in your life will forge your place in a society thats gone quite mad. I cant think of any other help i could offer at this moment:(

Not like there's any point. The real teachers are over stretched to truly offer you anything these days. And these pathetic goons they call teachers are destroying the lives of children anyway. Just that in itself is a nice thing to hear. Life is not all abot monetary gain. I promise you that the sooner you realise that, the sooner your life will be easier. The world of commercial gain has almost run its course. Look toward the joys of age old accomplishments for a man, such as finding your one true soul mate and creating a lasting legacy in your future family. That kind of thing is something money can never buy:) -

Not interested in a family, perhaps, but not currently. I really just want to live out my life on the internet

So, I had to take a World History class, so I took World History II Honors, and I started it today.
The teacher in the room like to refer to us as "her little ____". Then she decides to say most people in the U.S. are dumbasses. While then telling us she's going to teach us to not be dumbasses and to not talk stupid. (keep in mind this is a World HISTORY II HONORS class). She then keeps talking about her life that we don't care about, all while using incorrect English grammar. And she had the nerve to tell us she was going to teach us to not talk stupid...
The teacher in the room also joins in with her. My teacher also references to "That's what she said" when a kid said something.
She also likes to make other sexual references.
The rest of the day has also been quite awkward.
Anyone else had a strange day?
how old is she?/what does she look like?
if she's young/hot then that's fine. if old/ugly, then she needs to gtfo. nao. -

Well there's a kid at my school who walks around school with books in his pants...literally 1000 page books on both sides of his pants. Which lead to an awkward conversation where our Pre-IBDP WHII teacher said "do you have a romance section in your pants?, preferably in the front?" before he realized how bad this sounded.

Not racist and not wanting to start anything here, it's probably already been said but I cba reading all this atm, but most Americans are dumbasses? And not all English people have sexy accents. Scouse is difficult for even British people to understand. Youtube it. XD

You're basing the American "dumbass" comment on people that you hear about more, like Bush. (No offence to those who like him, I'm just using him as a common example)
But truth is, America has talent, but we always put the wrong people up there. Sure, some of their actions have been right, but all in all, we have much unused talent that is wasted, and that results in us getting bad rep because of the more known people being a dumbass. -

Grandma is suddenly sick....2 siblings go home to highschool and college....
me left with mom and 2 younger sibs....
New date....the 17th of Jan...
Grans now even sicker...
New date 13th of Feb...

anyways, most public high schools aren't that bad. success depends more on the student than on the school or the teachers in any case. -
