I don't have acne, But I usually wash my face in the shower with hot water (to open pores)

Then this to clean out pores,
Then i'll splash my face with cool water (to close pores),
And put some moisturizer on because the astringent Can dry your skin out :P
But I find it keeps my skin really clear.

The best thing to do is put a freshly cleaned towel on your pillow every night and sleep on it.

At night your face sweats then you pretty much wallow in it all night. The towel soaks it up and keeps it off your face.

I do this every night and I haven't had pimples in years.
