Honourable Soldier Ribbon
I know this is probably a lame request, but just wondering....why have the 'honourable soldier' ribbon at all when the autoban system previously banned 100's of legit players. I got unbanned after a week but then what's the point? Now people looking at my profile always gonna think I hack =_= Thanks to your faulty autoban...could I please have that ribbon

When did that ban happen? I haven't heard of anything, but it was probably because I played mw2 for 5 months...
Did you know that they accidentally vac-banned 30.000 players? -

Idk about anyone else wrongly getting banned. I think it happens not very often. Either you got unlucky or you did something you werent supposed to

Don't tell me you don't know about it, people from almost every clan got banned...It happened around the October-November timeframe, tons of legit people got banned. I see no reason why they would ban me, I only run Ventrilo and Gamebooster while playing :S ?? -

Hmmm probably because they got hacks? idk it doesnt seem like you could randomly get banned for no reason. So sorry. -

if you want it and you havent been banned for a good reason then you should contact them to get what you deserve. -

It was around the time they introduced their "new autoban" system...and apparently it had bugs...Guess what, I tried playin on my alt once my main got banned for a week and it got banned too, wdf moment there o_o then the third account worked out ok for some reason...anyway back to my main now everything is good :d (except for that ribbon)

it just worth it if you need the ribbon to enter a clan or to get the 5k GP for the 10th ribbon. -
I don't have the ribbon either but i dun care.
I got banned due to hacking but i wasn't. Maybe my client was corrupted due to previous hack downloads.
got kicked for using a "suspicious program(hack12)" or something,still have my ribbon -

autoban system only ban players with ilegal software in their pc... If you dont want to get banned, delect all ilegal files from your pc like dlls, injectors, and another files like that... If you have it on your pc you can get a 7 days ban from Xtrap... --' -

Lol you cant remove all dll's from your comp as they are used for other things. As long as a dll isnt "running" while you play your fine. -
While it is virtually impossible to tell that the first iteration of auto bans was "mistaken". We have looked at some cases and manually awarded the ribbon.
This ribbon is created more for fun, and to give new players a chance to obtain a ribbon. If you feel that you deserve this ribbon you can send a support ticket in and we will review the case.
We can't guarantee that we will award the ribbon based on this course of actions however. The ribbon does state that you have never been banned for any reason whatsoever.
It should be noted that it is unfair to the people who didn't get banned and who have never been banned and have been honorable to earn the ribbon. But we will look in to each case that gets submitted. -

good news everyone, i got my ribbon ^_^ Contacting support worked...they told me the ban was automatic detection and since I haven't been caught hacking since that ban (in October), I can get the ribbon
They also said:
"We are confident in our detection methods, but understand that this was in the early stages of its development. You should have the ribbon within 24 hours." -

and that is why i dont know why they dont do "auto permanent bans" since if u are sure u dont hack u can send a support ticket and get "unbanned" or they don do at least 30 days bans.
