It's almost similar to some people talking about how Black Widow gives others more FPS Lag but within other S&D Maps, its fine. -

and you have video card? and a good processor?
I play it on any map filled with my fps to 350 or 400. in a room where a kind x1 and my fps from 750 to 720.
hope that answers your question. -
FPS lagg is not the correct word. The word you're looking for it's: FPS Drops.
Yes, this is true. 'Cause of my computer, it seems like I lose 10+ FPS in some maps, just like Factory SnD, Castle SnD, etc. But, you will not do anything unless you buy a video card.
This is my suggestion:
Most of the computer I've seen, PCI Cards are supported. So, this is what I just bough two weeks ago:
http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-nVidia--GeForce-8400-512-P1-N724-LR/dp/B001QMJ8Z4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1294713698&sr=8-1
Thanks to this video card and a 2.66GHz processor, I don't FPS drop anymore.

My fps occasionaly drops too, i have a pretty fast pc, way higher as reccomended requirments, on low settings im playing with about 30fps, sometimes higher, sometimes lower depends on whats happening on my screen. The funny think is, when i increase settings (higher resolution + high image quality) the fps don't change and sometimes go even higher

its due to the size of the map making the game reder more frames per second due to the sheer size, so id try tweaking your graphics card control pannel and lowering everything, also try lowering your desktop settings to its lowest settings and that should improve your fps alot.
this will help a fair bit if your running vista or windows 7, also try smart close better than game booster and it closes all non essential programmes on your computer without the possibility of system damage. -

That isn't how it works but the rest of it was okay. If your computer can't handle crossfire then it probably sucks ass and you should get a better one (netbooks excluded). -
Another likely problem is that you don't play the map often, which might be a reason why you gain fps lag from it. Any other thing to do is to lower your settings and resolution. This game isnt meant much for graphics so if you lowered your resolution, you'd prolly wouldnt miss much.

My fps drops hard when i play on Metro GM, especifically when those stage smokes appear
My fps is 200, but when this happens, sometimes it goes down to 15-20!
i think it depends on the stage features
stages with large open areas are likely to lag more than stages with closed areas. -

there are various reasons 2 this example in a metro map u will get higher fps cause of smoke!
wheras in lab u dont! the size of the map also plays a great role !!
