2 Ideas - A) Grenades & B) A new match
If I was going to toss a grenade at someone in real life and they shot me dead after I pulled the pin, would the grenade not still go off?
Might seem like a simple request, but would be cool if Dev's made it so if the pin was pulled from a grenade at the time of death that it would still go off.
Secondly,
How about a Shotgun TD map? Could create a map like a catacomb or a maze with tight corners and turns to run around in with a shotty

I agree with the grenade being unrealistic, but then it not an ultra real game.
When the pin is pulled the fuse should start burning, and if you get killed and drop it it would still go off. But in game the fuse only starts burning after you have thrown the grenade. I thought it strange that you can pull the pin and then run around with it all over place without it exploding. Not only that but you can pull the pin, and then switch to another weapon which puts the pin back in?
With a real grenade you can pull the pin, and have say 8 second before it explodes. So you could throw it straight away or wait 4 seconds, then the remaining fuse will burn and it explodes depending on how long you held it for.
I guess if it where to change you would have alot of people blowing themeselves and their teammates up not realising they now had a time limit! -
IRL grenades don't start the fuse when the pin is pulled. That pins prevents the safety lever from being released, which does in turn start the fuse. In other words, the grenade is accurate in game.
Shotgun mode would be pretty neat. You are right, they'd need a better map to exploit it. The Navy uses shotguns for guard duty on ship, so perhaps a belowdecks map would be good. A lot of corridors and doorways. -

The only thing I dislike is the fact you can throw a grenade through someone. Also, I know it's more than just the pin coming out, it's the little lever coming off that triggers it to go off. Wouldn't the grenade come out of your hand after you die? Oh well. This game isn't that big on realistic qualities. -
Exactly. A "hand grenade's" fuse dose not actually start to burn until the hand guard is released, not after only the pin has been removed. In real life you can pull the pin and place it back in safely.
I know, this may be reading a bit too far into the "laws & physics", but still it would be cool. -

Oops, I stand corrected, didn't know that.
I thought I saw in movies they pull the pin then wait and then throw. I thought that was to let the fuse burn a little first. So I got that wrong, maybe they do I some movies to, I dunno.
Well I suppose they let go of the hand trigger and then wait a bit? -

There are all kinds of different grenades. Frag, shrapnel, time delay, So in reality, you are not 100% incorrect. The ones we have in game, in real life, could be set to even go off directly after the hand guard is released, (commonly used for bo.oby traps). German hand grenades (stielhandgrenate), the ones that look like they are on the sticks for throwing we all see in movies for instance, are time delayed. Set timer, pull pin, and

All I can do is imagine the crying that would go on in game if they used real physics and matter interactions. Things like friendly fire would make the game interesting. I'd like to shoot the wiseass who thinks staring into my scope is a funny thing to do. And you are right - grenades should bounce off people. You could have knockback for the guy hit and bank it off their dome for the kill on someone else. LOL

lol have you guys tried this: switch to grenade hold left click (it will pull the trigger and hold it in your hand) so there are 2 things that i find funny: 1 - you can switch back to any other weapon and switch back the tigger will still be there meaning that you will pull again. 2 - wont the grenade explode in a certain time? And lastly what you have mentioned it setting off.
