Technical Help.
I´m in need of a little guidance.
I have just reformatted my Laptop (for the first time, i´m new so please bear with me) and need someone who can help me.
One of my first priorities is to get my E-Mail account and my PayPal account information sorted out A.S.A.P. PayPal isn´t a problem, but my Googlemail account is.
The problem is this: I havent manually given in my password for well over a year (damned auto fill in things are poison when lazy people need to re-format) I have filled in one of their support forms, but!, I couldn´t remember which month I had created my account in so I placed a random month so that I could send off the form. Will this have any affect on wether or not I get my old password sent to my secondary E-Mail account?
Secondly: I had Steam installed with a bunch of games (retail and steam versions), the retail versions won´t be a problem to re-install, however i´m not sure about the steam versions, do I have a chance to download them for free if I can prove that I had purchased them etc etc ?
Last but not least, please do not troll this thread, it is a very serious matter for me and I would appreciate it if the community could at least in this instance show a little respect.

possibly calling paypal if you know your bank account numbers/credit cards used/purchases/your name/address i'm sure they can reset your password/email or they possibly have online help

what i got from that is that your gmail acc is tied to your paypal, same problem my sister had, not with paypal but the email, she forgot the password, i suggested just changing the email that is linked with your paypal for now because usually gmail is picky when it comes to recovering emails. -

I "need!!" my Gmail account. There are a lot of important mails there. I´m not a kid, and I use that email account for business purposes as well.
Hence my questions.. -
I'm sorry to tell you but if it was important as you make it sound you would have the information required to recover your account, learn from this mistake i guess, if all else fails just try to generalize the date you came up with your account, and list any information regarding what website accounts your gmail is tied to,Prisoner_627 wrote: »...Thank you for telling me what I already know.

If I had known that I would need to re-format my laptop for a reason BEYOND my control, then I would have written it down somewhere.
I have a busy life and at the time it was convienient to use the "auto-fill-in" option.
I don´t need a lecture. I was looking for help and advice. The only thing im relieved not to have seen in your first post was "tl;dr"
Now I would like it if someone who has an idea on what they blabber on about could help me. Please. -
FYI, you are better off using the actual website's help forum, considering this is First person shooter off topic forum, just a suggestion...
As if i´m not trying that.. Or did you really think this would be my first port of call.
Maybe someody here might know something..
