i want advice
i fell for this girl right, im out of town, i met my ex, we had a spliff, this girl calls me, i tell her i cant talk now while laughing, i tell her il call back in 10 minutes, i call back after 4 hours, she asks how it went, i tell her me and my ex had an argument and made up some random dumb story which she didn't buy and then she goes "im with some cool dudes here and i can't talk" then she hangs up. she is obviously mad. and i am obviously bad.
what do i do now?

Get off the forums and sort it out sounds like good advice.
6 AM, have to sort it out in like..12-15 hours so for now, forums is the way to go since most of my friends are sleeping and the ones that arent are morons and il never ask them for this kind of advice. so please strangers, help me out -

she is gorgeous, she is smart, witty, shes a pothead like me, she likes to act tough and independent, shes been living alone since she was 15, she is very friendly, she loves holding my hand and making me coffee in the morning, she loves making me lose my train so i can stay an extra day... i'm feeling nostalgic now -

no, i think telling her the truth now would end it all. her finding out months from now after we have established a proper relationship in which something i did months ago wouldn't matter for **** is the better alternative -

a question though: how long do u think u can hide the truth from her? if you end up marrying her, do you intend to keep the secret buried even then? -

Lying only goes so far, and the longer you keep the lie, the more trust you lose when you finally tell it. -

i dunno what to say, thank you for the advice, but i can't bring myself to tell her the truth and marriage is far from my mind right now, she knows i have a lot of girls i talk to and all that, and shes ok with that since i have to wade through mobs of guys hitting on her at like every single party we go to but i KNOW she won't take me having sex with my ex lightly... better to just tell her later..much much later..

i talked to her and we are ok, she didn't ask too much about what happened with me and my ex and she told me she trusts me whatever happens and all that
i have a distinct feeling she cheated on me now lol -
Like most other people, I'd naively say tell the truth, but from a relationship viewpoint I know it doesn't always work out. In all honesty though (pun intended), if you tell it and it falls apart, you have no one to blame but yourself.
Next best thing you can do is still tell the truth, but omit a few "facts". Not lying, just not painting the whole picture either.
As a last tip, never make up a bs story without writing it down. Trust me, it helps. -
Tell the truth, to a certain extent. Your ex was over, you was trying to let her down gently. Then when your girl phoned it created havoc, I mean HAVOV! You had to then convince your ex that you had'nt been cheating on her and that you still wanted to stay friends, "Friends" no more, and that made things worse. Then you phone your girl and she is mis-understanding you too and your at your wits end! Then just leave it at that!
