Ribbon Idea (Fairer)
I posted this in response to a post in another thread, but I feel it deserves to be considered as a suggestion:
You know, I do wish that Z8 could do 2 ribbons.
1) Never banned.
2) Never banned for hacking.
Because people can lose their ribbon for telling noobs to stfu in game (maybe stronger language) but you get the idea.
It would be nice to know which is which, esp as a leader of a clan.
Tastylimes for example looks like an hacker because he doesn't have the ribbon, but when you see his SS then you know he got banned for another reason, but even then it leaves a little doubt because one could think did he get more than 1 ban? Now that's not an hackusation at all, but you get the point.
And I'm sure Tastylimes would want his ribbon that means he wasn't banned for hacking.

I think if they want to make ribbons respected they need to make them for things that should be respected.
Such as NOT having SPOP and NOT having lame grenades.
Make ribbons for things that are worthwhile. 30 headshots in a game. 50 kills in a TD. Making all the escapes on your team for a round. 10/0 or 10 + K/D or something in a round. Knife killing people using different types of guns. Pistol kills against people with rifles. Cool things that people can be proud of for accomplishing.
Yes farmers could easily get these but then that would just ruin the point of actually earning them, for those nubs. They get no real self-worth but the legit people would.
The rewards as is benefit people that spend money/ZP. I understand that's probably the point for them but they've got it backwards. They're rewarding fail instead of rewarding awesome. Making their game an illegitimate place for real players in the process. -

usually i support all of your suggestions. not this one. its something like a "fair-play-ribbon"
to me fair play also is about how you treat/talk to other players in game. if there were actually two ribbons, it would be kind of an invitation for players who lose their temper on a daily basis, because a lot of players simply wouldn´t care as long as they are not losing that main-ribbon. and tasty is legit? aw common..:) -

It might be phrased wrong but basically there should be 2 ribbons one for "Fair Play" i.e not hacking, and "Honourable Soldier" (Never been in game banned).
Everyone has both and you can lose one or both.

Well personally I couldn't care less if I lost my ribbon but it certainly won't be for hacking, scamming, glitching it would be for cussing out idiots that kick or won't kick hackers etc

Exactly, not having the ribbon is highly suspect and I am inclined to write them all off as hackers (just to be safe), but not having it doesn't mean you have hacked, that's why there should be 2.
