to ban a country over the actions of some people is quite racist and will no doubt get Z8 in legal trouble.

Besides, we know its only a few that hack since the rest are cannon fodder.

(average br player has a pretty bad aim)

"average br player has a pretty bad aim" isnt racist?:D
  • Let hackers hack. They don't give a baboon's colorful behind. It's just their curiosity.

    No. It isn't. It's a generalization or a stereotype.

I would say generalization. Some actually have decent aim.
  • randies who dont know how the world works.............

  • I guess if the same sentence is repeated enough times, people start to believe it...

yea look at hitler, he got it figured out way b4 the rest of us
  • Legal Actions = gaining the right to be able to ban an entire country from your game.

You go -click oh look... theyre all banned...

Its got nothing to do with money... you need to be allowed to do so. Combat Arms were allowed to.. then they made the Brazilians their own version

    Seriously people

    THINK > TYPE

CASH Cow are you want is money z8 is full of monkeys

No they don`t have a bad aim . All people around the world who are far from the server and who have the disadvantage of having a high ping will look like aiming bad. This is due to the time traffic of the packets sent by him and the process from CF server and return it back to him . He is seeing the low pinger at a place where he is not . and the low pinger see him shoot elsewhere rather than at him .
  • we just need to call chuck norris
and with a flying kick end with the BRz hackers :D

when will you kids on the forums learn that brasilian isn't a race?
and when will you learn that they have every right to ban a country from playing any of their games?

    Right and right..

Where we are and aren't allowed to act is very strictly limited by contract. To ban a region would probably (without knowing what the contract says, granted) interfere with it.

The term "illegal" is used in the form of a contractual breach here, not like a constitutional violation.
  • I'm pretty sure it's been said before, but for one thing, Combat arms made Brazil their own version, and if the higher-ups here were to ban a whole country, that would likely break agreements made to be able to launch CF in the first place. So, when we make CFBR, in 20000 years, we can probably negotiate a way to limit them to their version of said game.

(Unrelated note, the ad at the bottom is trying to sell me Portal 2 for 90 dollars.)

im ofered 379/day with google! imagine how many times i can buy portal 2 with that.

and nah, theres no agreement that get broken by blocking a country/region. they OWN our accounts, thus decide who get to play/who get banned, ect. its also one of the reason we cant sell "our"acounts because in reality, we dont own it, z8 does. z8 could reset evre1 one's account andremove evre1's zp if they want and legaly get away with it. although i doubt thats the marketing strategi their going for.
  • I'll add my first 2 cents on the "ban all the BR's" kind of thread.

I have a good friend living in Brazil with above average English. He's a GM player though. What he told me a while ago absolutely shocked me. Unlike most of the South American gaming communites, he's totally against cheating. Cool guy to hang out with too.

That's how playing CF in Brazil looks like:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tGJNpRXaRo

What the owners of those Internet Cafes/LAN centers do in Brazil, is: buy/download/find cheats, CF cheats for example and let the kids use them, because apparently it's fun and their ping is quite impossible to frag with. And of course by that they'll get more customers, which equals better profit.
There are like 9-12 years old playing CF, so stop wondering why BRs are such a pain in the ass.
I've played many FPS games before CrossFire, I have around 10 years gaming experience, and from what I've seen during my 10 years, is always South American countries being extremely annoying in games, whether it's their behavior or excessive cheating.
  • You think a developing country buys more ZP than US or Europe?

on that right ther i heard the Brazilians pay more money than us American/EU
s thats why they stay and if the game had liek ping restricted rooms it would solve the worlds problems xD

AFF PORRA lawl like its liek we understand them
  • I barely see a brazilian because I play in UK servers
But I know that IP banning them is a stupid move.
They buy lots of ZP *coughs*[F]enix
    *coughs* and
they are the large majority of CF
    Less players = less popularity
    less popularity=less money from sponsors

Na, its a well known fact.
  • on that right ther i heard the Brazilians pay more money than us American/EU

Heard from who? An official source? I didnt think so. Its all assumptions and rumours :/
  • And instead of posting this here and yelling about it you could report it to the system.

I don't understand the people who post hate threads to people in other countries. Especially when they say, Why don't you do something about this?!?!?!?!? We don't do anything about it because you don't go through the proper channels to report it. You come to these forums to whine and complain and expect everyone to bend over backwards for a forum post with 55 replies.

Our support staff do not comb these forums every day looking for the one thread by someone in North America posting some accusation towards someone else in another country.

Report it to the system and it will be treated the same way as someone in Vermont posting links to an injector.

Somehow the people in the other countries managed to figure this out. And most of the time English isn't even their first language.
