servers and game reg

Sometimes servers need HEAVY maintenance in order to fix the clutter and fragmentation of information on them. It's possible that the problem has not been found yet and it is an ongoing process to find it. There are plenty of possibilities.

I can almost say for certain that the Techs at G4Box are not just sitting around doing nothing. It depends on the limitations of the servers themselves as hardware, as well as the software on them. I do not know the exact details, I'm only speaking from what I have learned previously. I would say just wait and try to be patient. That's all any of us can do. It's tough to deal with the problems, I know. Hopefully, a solution will be found sooner than later. But rest assured, I'm sure they are trying to find it.

atleast it eventually gets fixed. Instead of not fixed at all.

OT: winch doesnt reg as well as it used to. The overpopulation in the servers is messing with my ping.

This would be like killing 2 birds with one stone: You get rid of the laggers and the most notorious hackers.

Then clean the servers and Z8, you are back in business

Clearly, if you're doing 0 damage to people (Probably just exaggerating) then your internet is obviously phucked.

When my ping was 288-300 I'd shoot people and it wouldn't -EVER- reg.

It might show your ping is 60, but it updates every 3 seconds you press tab, within these times the ping could spike to up to 200 without you even noticing.

For example, if you leave uTorrent on and you're downloading something your ping will rise to over 200 to even a thousand ping and you wouldn't even notice.. it's like you're not even lagging but it's like shooting a laser at an apple in space.. very little chance of actually hitting it.

By the time you fire, your ping lags wherever you were aiming, the player you're shooting at moves by the time your lag shot went through and if you aimed ahead of time (advanced aiming trajectory technique) they might also have a high ping.. even 200 reduces the amount of damage that gets through.

I still get reg with every single weapon, my ping is SPIKY as HELL.. it spikes to 80 every few seconds and I still get decent reg.

Other users will agree and cause a rant saying 'Z8GAMES FAULT PLS FIX'
and you come to the conclusion it is indeed NOT your computer/internet, but believe it or not ... it is.

If most people have reg, and just some people don't that means it's THEIR PC.

If Z8Games servers were somehow malfunctioning, everyone WOULD experience it due to the fact we ALL play on the same server (i.e, e-8, a-7, etc)

All servers are on the same datacenter and set of servers, except for West Coast, UK servers, US South servers, those are specially made for people within that region to have better ping.


You wanted an explanation, you got it.

Z8Games cannot reply on their behalf about this problem, they have more serious business to be attending to such as the maintenance of their site, attempting to patch new hacks, updating security flaws, maintaining servers, etc.

Moderators are busy removing posts by people who are less intelligent that most of the population or are just being trolls.

Here, we can start by finding the problem in this thread;

Post your average FPS on all maps
Post your ISP (if it's private, i.e not RoadRunner, Comcast, Verizon, don't post)
Post your average ping and what it spikes + what time of day it spikes.

Problem found > Collect data > Find source of problem > Make conclusion > Fix problem
