servers and game reg
is anyone else having huge ping spikes? i remember my ping being 63-69 and now its never in the 80s or lower. My internet is the same. I actually upgraded and my download/upload speed are x2 faster but my ping rose before that.
and not to mention the game reg...its just crap now. i keep hitting people with the winchester scope and it does 0 dmg. i still live but when someone takes my kill it shows that i did 0 dmg. whats going on? are the owners of this game just saying "meh...eff the people in this game. we dont care about them" or what?

Lol I somehow sense you're like us who played the game all the way from suba? Yea games reg got worse cause the game was flooded by laggers/tankers. Worst of all they don't speak english lol. -

yea i did actually.
came back after a year or so since back then the game WAS infested with hackers. now its a little bit better but...the community...its utter poop. it wasnt perfect but now its !!!!!!!. and yea im like the only one who speaks english in the dang room >.> -

Well you cannot consider those that don't speak English part of the community simply cause they don't well...Communicate. Yes this game b4 WAS flooded with hackers. Although people just lol'd @ it cause it was hilarious. (Alot of people spoke english that played.) Now it's just EXTREMELY annoying if you see a hacker...cause well it's done by a very HUSH HUSH population of people. -

i dont remember it being this bad. i remember having 110 or so ping and getting better reg. i could shoot people that teleported because of their lag and killed them.
and again, i know the game had bad reg...but now its horrible.

Exactly. He's right, there is a lot of factors that influence shot registry like if the person is moving (#chucklez. It's pitiful cause it's a damn fps game lololol) If they're jumping or not (Lol should've heard what the casters during WEM said about this lmfao) -

i used to be able to awm people in mid air and it registered. now...i only dream of it

pretty much the best way to make sure you have an enemy with decent ping aswell is by pugging. they are good for fair play.
well i was lucky enough to find a room with 3 english speakers (counting myself). pings were about 60-90. i kept shooting them in mid air and they didnt die. i shot 160+ pingers as well and the same thing happened. -

winchester-scope is 1 hit at close range right? 0 damage. sometimes even when theyre not in the air. then sometimes i hit the wall and not them and they die o.o
OR
i hit them, reload, and while im reloading they die. wdf?
or with the tar. you know the little window in gr base in the map Mine? i keep shooting them when they fall down and they only take damage from 1 of the shots. -

Does your internet connection ever spike? it could just be unlucky timing. -
How did you come to that conclusion?
just be patient.
lets say they fix it. awesome...they care. but seriously though. if they fix it after having this problem for months...it just shows they are in no hurry to make their customers happy.
so far its been a few weeks...i think. i dont mind that. but if its going to take months... -

Well, this is one of the first threads i have seen about it lately, to be honest.
I suggest checking your own internet to make sure it is Z8.
i have man. i even upgraded but it rose before that. didnt change my internet provider. i even called them to see if anything was wrong but it was all normal. internet speed, download, upload, video stream is just as fast but my ping keeps rising.
ive actually seen it happen to a ton of people...not just me. when i see my ping double, everyone else has their pings doubled too. -
You also need to take into consideration that there might be an unknown root to the problem. Diagnosing network and server latency issues can actually get VERY complicated. My brother was a network administrator and it took him almost 8 months to actually figure out the problems with the campus network. Sometimes, it's not all cut and dry. It's not that they don't care, but they may not know how to fix it quite yet. Try to think about it from all angles before jumping to a conclusion of, "they don't care". I understand your frustration, trust me.
