Headsets

i am planning on buying a head set, but im not exactly sure what i should get.
i was looking at the steelseries servia v2- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826249036
but if you have any suggestions let me know. anything at that price rang would be nice. lower the better tho >.<

v2's are better for LANs and such.

5hv2s are good, hd555's are good too.

I know at least 8 people that use these, including me. They are fantastic, and cheap. I got mine for $30 but my friends are telling me they are on ebay for $12.

Atm I use Creative Fatal1ty.

Same here. With them I can hear new sounds I couldn't with earbuds but somehow I barely can hear ghosts. I would probably.be.able.to.hear them.by using.realtack.nd.changing.settings but I don't know how. Maybe somebody (a panthe's guy or someone like that) could make a tuto.

get that steelseries servia v2. I'm using it too, amazing headset, very comfy, worth the money spent. But I recommend u get a good sound card with it, otherwise it a waste of mony

i wouldn't get anything beside bose or any drivers made by Dolby...get some made with Dolby surround system..u can hear ghost around u.

I have a Logitech headset with Dolby surround sound but the surround sound doesn't seem to work well with cf because cf is only stereo or something. I'm not a tech whiz so I don't really understand it

I alternate between my laptop speakers or when I feel pro, my dollar store headphones. I suggest everybody does this.

Turtle beaches, logitech's, razers, steelseries, plantronics (kreative, is the best sound quality in my op), and shneisher are all good headsets. Just depending how much $ you want to spend on this game.

yea u right about the stereo only on CF, but i have another Bose comfort 3($350)+$40 mic like an iphone headset, i bought another adapter n make it work with Pc.

that things sounds really nice when i am playing GM, sometimes i can tell where ghost around me, but when their is more than 1 ghost seens, like any headphone won't work.
CF really need to work something out , make this game a full surround sound gaming.
