I definitely prefer the xm8 although I haven't used the g36k extensively. I like the xm8 because of its firing rate and its accuracy.

I personally think that G36K has one of the fastest firing rate out of all the guns in Crossfire.... correct me if otherwise xD I"m not so sure on this.
XM8's scope is completely rubbish.
The whole point of a scope is to be more accurate at far range, and most times headshotting is a priority. When in scope with the XM8, the red dot is usually large than the enemy's head, therefore the scope is VERY ineffective in my opinion.

With that said, G36K is a mid-close range type of spray gun, even with the scope, the mediocre damage of the gun just won't do enough damage to kill at long range. But the firing speed makes up for

XM8 is a deadly weapon (if used correctly of course) out of scope and is on par with M4, AK-47 even, which is very useful seeing how M4/AKs are the mostly used guns in CF.

normally id say the g36 but the model cf has of it is the worst model hk came out with. get the xm8 and wait till they come out with a g36c w/red dot scope and hi cap mag.
