Anyone live in california?

Anyone living in california experience lagg in alpha,bravo,charlie, or echo server? Because me and 3 other friends that live in california are. Their pings have all gone up and stayed up, same with mine. My usual ping was 80-90..but now it is 100-150..it never goes under 100...so i was wondering if it is my internet or it is the weather, or it can be the servers?

I do live in CA, and my ping is around 90-100 in those servers, sometimes it's 110

I have time warner cable. 5 mas. and still getting 100 constant. ever since the christmas patch its been annoying me

I have asked around..and people are saying it is due to the cold weather..can that be true? does cold affect our ping? cuz someone told me that when the cables are cold, than the internet slows down..something like that..i dont believe it, but can it be true?

Maybe. Maybe something went wrong in the servers for your internet provider. I've been lagging a lot lately and it's making my performance horrible in FPS gaming.

Yeah well going to a server across a country when theres one next to you and complaining about high ping..

what about scrimming for west coast dot hm? no one does that and we have to do it on the other servers. NOW we have a reason

This has happened before when Mutation Week was out. This time I believe, it is not Z8's fault. It is your IP. Same with mine. AT&T is bugging the crap out of me right now because no one is on the net right now and I'm lagging. That's what make me think it is the horrible job AT&T is doing that is making me lag.

If you scrim on Alpha-Echo then you might as well scrim on West.

If you need to scrim on a clan server and think thats worth the high ping then you're pretty off. Just scrim in regular servers like everyone else.

Ahaha. Good luck with that. Mine internet has been horrible for the past 3 days and I'm not even cold. My friends tell me it's cold outside but it isn't to me. You can still play in WCS but you will deal with a rough estimate of 60 ping maybe

yeah dude i have been playing in west caost, and i am getting 30-40 ping..so my ping in west coast hasnt gone up at all..its only in alpha,bravo,charlie, and echo...so it is really weird

Nah, my ping was still around 85.

My old team started scrimming wcs and there was once a west coast pug at one time as well.
