How to use VMware?

Well I need to know how to use it. Some people say I just download/install it - Some say I have to code the program.

I know a german who uses it, he says u just have to download it

you have to download it then install an operating system in it then download crossfire etc

VMWare itself you download.

But X-Trap does not let is pass unless you have the code people have made to bypass it, which is why I am closing this thread.
