I run a GeForce 9800 thats like two steps newer in sli three
but before i got them in sli mode
I used one and it was great over 150fps every game
with the sli mode I am up to 219
A good place to look for game/fps is

although you get that fps, he won't get the same results even if he did get the same card, it is a cpu based game meaning the better processor you have the better fps obviously. -
i would go with ati, they consume less power and obviously don't over heat because of this, as posted before it would be better than the 9500.
I disagree the 9540 ATI Radeon is a chit card
I had two before i went to GeForce cards and one overheated and
shut off, the other gave purple rings around everything
I have no problem with cooling on my cards (9800GTX+OC) that i run in SLI X3 mode -

anyone that knows a decent amount of knowledge about gaming computers knows ati is better for gaming overall, price/performance/durability -

Then I guess you best be going to AMD and telling them that
because there stuff is less expencive and More durable for the average comsumer That is a part you left out.
for the Rich yes go with ATI most dont carry warranties anyway
but I recommend these

Here is a comparison of both recommended cards YOU DECIDE

not really
for this game nvidia is better than ati
with a geforce 9400 u can get higher fps than with a gts250 ( a lot of ppl complain about how this games engine sucks) -

Sounds like you had everything poorly set up, and used an underpowered power supply. -

ati is a rather cheaper card when it comes to performance and value, and when it comes to 5000/6000 series ati wins -

HHAHAH nice flame
but guess what you fail
My system uses 1100 watt powersupply
Poorly set up
hmm you open case take out old card
place in new card close case
when windows starts you load the drivers and restart
then you go to ATI support site put your card num in it
follow up with driver support section to make sure'
you have the lastest drivers.
There is no poor way to set it up unless you don't install correct drivers
and for that you have to be pretty computer illiterate.
To which I am not
I have several degrees in computer science and tech as well
as Engineering Technology So I think I am qualified to comment on what has happened with my system and be confident that I am not computer illiterate. -

Flaming is the often deliberate act of posting or writing messages on Internet bulletin boards and message groups that have the intent of insulting or creating dissent within a group. An Internet flame is often filled with coarse language and personal insults. It is meant to hurt people’s feelings, get them fired up, and not to further conversation on a personal issue. It is never conversational, but it may be meant to upset an entire group, provoking conversation about someone’s flame or on the practice of flaming in general.
So in saying I had set it up poorly was a indirect attempt to insult my intelligence or direct whichever way you would take it. -

No, not flaming. Artifacts caused by your graphics card is usually a result of an underpowered power supply powering the card. As for the over heating problem, sounds like your case is either too small or poorly set up to handle the heat/cooling of 2 graphic cards. -

well I guess he was a bit short on the knowledge part HUH?
Oh and just how was his post helpful to the topic maker? -
SooperPickle wrote: »Stretched calm down...you're taking things offensively that aren't offensive at all O_O
no I am legitimately posting to help the person out who made this topic
and You and some others find it necessary to comment on non topic issue's
if you had one post that was helpful To him or G2Wolf did I nor
anyone else seen it. So help or stop posting
my posts were my opinion and my own as in the way to communicate my thoughts
the first Link i posted was to inform him of the price of a better card for the money
The second link was to give him a place to educate himself on the
comparison of the two cards so he can make an educated decision.
What have you Done? -

in the end ATI is better, a card is not going to be rated bad just from one person's experience whether it was through ignorance or defective. I think you need to calm down, G2 wasn't flaming the description you listed sounded like an inadequate PSU. For a person with that many degrees you don't seem so mature/intelligent.(flame) LIKE I said, ATI is better overall -
