Acer Aspire 5742z 4685 compatibility with CF?

Hello, I'm not too sure if this is the right place to post this, but I am having a lot of trouble with playing Cross Fire on my laptop I recently acquired. The Acer Aspire 5742z 4685. Now, I managed to install the game, but the game isn't even full screen for some reason, and it just crashes during the middle of a match, its quite disappointing, and this hurts my honor, etc. Basically, I would like to play complete games, and I find that Cross Fire runs great on this laptop, except for these random crashes. *sigh* any suggestions? Thanks a lot...
