Cept that I find .avi files larger than .wmv

AVI all the way.
And i believe WMV files are larger than avi.

doesn't lack quality and low file size.

AVIs are bigger

I usually have problems uploading to youtube in an AVI format, so I switched to wmv.

my raw FRAPS files in .avi are like 2~3 GB for 1:30 of video

Both are good, but you get awesome quality with wmv too, and the files have lower size than avi, so I'd choose wmv.

my raw FRAPS files in .avi are like 2~3 GB for 1:30 of video

thats because it is raw video data and no rendering which makes file size huge

if you convert it it will be renderd and shrink size signifigantly
