Ranking progess
Does anyone else think there should be more rewards while ranking up, since it does get alot harder as you go along and i think being rewarded for ranking up would give me something to look forward to. And its already hard enough to get GP by playing in the game to purchase anything most people who dont buy zp will be using the same one or two guns the whole way through there time playing crossfire and i think that is abit too much and leaves no room for trying everything in the game out.

I agree that GP rates are low enough that having more than two or three guns becomes a problem, but that is part of the reason they added daily missions (500 GP per day). If you chose to buy a gun you dislike, you can usually sell it back after a few weeks of playing and be able to buy a new gun with the extra GP you've accumulated. Picking up other guns off the ground can provide you with enough amusement during that time to keep you occupied. -
Selling anything you buy is just a bad idea in CF you loose over 50% of its value so theres no point. And even with daily missions and badges its still way too slow.. im not talking about lots of GP every little bar you rank up, im saying that from staff sarg to SFC you should get something and from SFC to master sarg something else and then on 2nd LT and so on..

I totally agree, I think the GP rates are ridiculous in this game. It's not that you don't gain enough GP from the matches and stuff, it's the repair rates. The repair rates are like 80-90% of what you just gained. From the current rank bonuses that you get, that is 60 000 GP along with the 45 000 you start with (That's how much I started with, not sure if it has changed since then) that is 105 000 GP, good for 2-3 guns.
There is also no renting option or something, so buying a gun is a big deal and if you want to sell it, you only get like 30% of how much you bought it for, and that's AFTER they make you repair it back to full condition. So, if you buy a gun, you should know you will be using that gun for a while.
Yes, missions and badges do help, but it's hard to complete the missions due to hackers obviously but what I find more annoying is that 1 mission is always the same day after day, I think it switches every month or something, but hasn't anyone else noticed that 4 wins for Egypt TD has been on there FOREVER? Some of the missions take a while to complete too.
Since you're going to be making minimal GP from just matches, let's just count the GP you make from missions. Complete 1 mission for 500 GP. That means if you do 1 mission every day, you will make 500 GP every day, so if you're starting from 0 GP, it will take 20 days minimum to make 10 000 GP, so it would take 80 days to make 40 000 GP, enough for a cheap rifle.
I basically think that giving more ways to get GP would be beneficial to most people. -

+1, but try getting this passed the dictators.
This is my 4th time saying this. CF seriosly needs to put in some serious hours to adjust to the needs of the players. Whats sad is that while other games get a patch weekly, we get one every other month. Shows the level of commitment and dedication they have for us. -
Well im not going to make any comments on the CF staff as im sure they do care for the game alot and im sure you can understand CF is played by a large number of people the number of reports etc they get would mean alot of work for them, but I just wanted to put forward my suggestion on this becuase ranking up seems abit dull if you ask me becuase you do not get rewared in any way at all. And yes repair rates seriously need to be changed becuase how they are atm it is seriously impossible to accumulate any GP without purchasing ZP.

It's not hard at all to accumulate GP. Play Elim if you don't want to waste GP breaking weapons, or you could just break all of your weapons for the GP. Missions give you a guaranteed 500 on top of whatever you earn while playing, and badges that you earn just from playing give GP along with certain levels when you rank up. You also have the option to sell broken weapons, and with missions you get temp items that can be broken for GP. You can also sell old weapons to give you that extra amount of GP To buy a new weapon.
There's plenty of ways to earn GP. You guys are basically just asking for more GP so you can guys can buy every weapon in the store. Protip: You only need a 2 primary weapons and 2 secondaries. Bag A and Bag B. You have plenty of GP to do so. -

Good point but it would be nice if there was something extra when we ranked up...not even GP necessarily, just make it like badge system, give us temp guns. -
I agree with sunslash it would be nice to get something going through higher ranks.
And before i started buying zp i could never get more gp to buy a new gun so i had to make a new account everytime i wanted one. and 500 gp isnnt that much when you think how hard it can sometimes be to do the daily missions can take a whille doing the daily missions to get the gun you want. -

Lol if they up the GP rate it'll still take you years to get all the guns if not longer.
