New Player Using Lappy
So I've played like one and a half games and well I killed two people but I got killed 23 times or something like that. For one thing I'm using a touchpad which i think is affecting my ability to shoot ppl, does anyone else use a touchpad and find it effective? Do I just suck?

Not convinced CF is worth a 3 dollar mouse when I can go play BO or MW but thanks to those who weren't sarcastic.

Or you could read the comment I posted directly above you. I d/l'd CF to see what it was like and not only is the game like a bad N64 shooter but the members are reeking of arrogance. Think I'll stick to my console shooters. GL for those of you who aren't d bags. -
Haha, thanks nacho / smila :P
I've used touchpad for over 2 years on this game (recently got a mouse, but havent practised much due to lag) and i've done pretty well. My reactions were pretty horrible, but I found it good practise to work on my angles and use my brain more than my head.
My first advice would be to move mouse sensitivity to 100. Then just get to know the maps, the height a head would be around a corner and become really good at spraying with whichever gun you prefer. Just focus on bringing everything together (angles, noise, strafes etc) and don't worry about the aim. If your gamesense is good enough, you won't REALLY need a mouse unless you want to take on top 7 or 8 teams. I've always done decent with a touchpad, but the mouse certainly helps (mine isnt even good, just one for 10 euro's). If you want a thorough guide on tips, just add me on xfire / steam: rust12345 -

Oh the irony. The Call of Duty community is one of the worst game communities ever, even surpassing the immaturity of the CS/CSS and Halo communities.
Have fun enjoying your shooter using a terrible input device to move around and shoot. Controllers are absolutely terrible for first person shooters, and it's been proven (by Microsoft, amazingly enough), that any random mouse+keyboard user will beat even the best controller users in an fps. -

I wanna see you play -
So, if I'm reading this correctly, you can't buy a 3 dollar mouse for cf, but you can buy two 60 dollar games, and you'll still have to buy a mouse for those games too?
I think he means on a console...
But yeah, 5 dollars is good enough for a cheap mouse
