Because you're able to sub players in GM drafts and MOTG? I think not. Most good GM teams will have a s5 with chemistry already built and strats already built. Subbing One Sided players will contribute less for your team winning than just keeping the current s5.
Being one sided on GR or BL won't help your team win a scrim.
CCAV vs. Soundless
or
Panthers vs. Invisible.
I've scrimmed against both Soundless and CCAV and Soundless is better imo. They always keep the same s5 rather than swapping like CCAV does. Better chemistry = stronger team.
That will go for any mode.
lawl@ needing chem in GM. And yeah i'm pretty sure you can sub in whenever you want in between halves.
The teams I posted were examples. Being one sided is always how scrims in GM mostly always is, i don't know what randies you've been playing. -
Real good teams will utilize substituting players. in Entropy, we had a team with 4 guys who can play both sides great. then we had 2 guys who could only play 1 side. if a tournament were to commence during our days, we would let GhosterF play with the team on GR side. then swap him for sorrybyebye for BL side. good teams don't have a set 5, good teams utilize their top 5 GR and top 5 BL.

Both sides equally used the same advantages so it didnt really matter much tbh. Blame the people who decided to allow them in the tourney.
Harder to kill ghosts, seeing how axe is one hit kill with or without armor, but you're right, panthers could've still won though -
If i remember correctly didnt global risk win both sides on the panthers vs hell?
The way i see it, the added bl perks are much needed in scrims but are in a way unfair in pubs. If you are scriming a good gm team and you do not posses breath down at the very least, then it will be nearly impossible to take out anyone from global risk team if they can pinpoint properly. The only way to win would be to c4 stall but that will only work for so long. Remember you have to go into the sites which are being defended so staying still even for a few seconds to plant will most likely result in you dying. In pubs where theres no teamwork, sprayers, people wandering the map in vulnerable areas, and overall no defending the bomb sites it is much easier for the ghosts to get passed everyone and just flat out dominate and adding breath down shovel/axe just makes life a lot harder with the disadvantages that are already set in the gr side
Black List may appear superior in pubs and all these added perks play a role in this but come scrims when these pro bl players go against gr players that actually know what they are doing you'll see how much they will struggle to get their kills. -
