yea dogfish . very nice idea . i say lets keep it up . we had non-clan members joining , people whispering and asking for pw . we actually had a very nice guy join , realise his ping was too high and he left , all of his own choosing (very classy guy sergiowolf , you'll be more than welcome next time , ping was only a wee bit over limit and my bad for that). frkn awesome people , lets keep this up . it's a whole new game without high pingers .MegasAngel wrote: »This was so much fun...no high pings ...just all low pings..Clan mega will do this every chance we get..

I thought this was like a pub thing anything goes....echo 8 is for wogl rules .....I don't use those guns but I have seen peeps use them and I say if they wanna why not?

well i agree with one thing you said bruce . we should name them cf-NA or something like that . thats a good point . but while i , personally, don't use em because i can't hit anything with them , M12s and Scar Lights are part of the game . you as a MOD should know that . if you don't want them in the game then maybe you should take up a petition . but when a MOD comes in a pub game and starts QQing about the weapons people are using it looks pretty bad , don't you think ? just saying .[MOD]Bruce wrote: »You guys need to make the room names like, CF North America or something. Lets not beat around the bush here, we all know the m12 and the skill lite have significant advantages over other guns. Its annoying when the gun allows the lesser skilled player an advantage. It isn't so bad when 321 pingers are using the guns, but when a player with 12 ping and a decent mouse is using one things become a lot less fun. If you want people to play, then make it fun for everyone, not just you (or whoever m12s) -

Crying about something that is a part of the game does nothing....If it's that bad, why is it even in the game? I think that if it's allowed in the game and available to everyone...then you should be able to use it...If you don't want people to use it remove it! I am just saying playing games where people are constantly complaining is annoying. I suggest you don't play in these games if it bothers you to the point that you need to insult others who are using a gun that is offered to everyone....do you ever play for fun bruce?

if this is going to work it'll be up to everyone to do their part . you can't just really on one clan or one person . if there isn't a room up then make one and post on the forums . hopefully people will join in , and eventually it'll get to the point where it's second nature to go to echo 5 and play with low pings .RawrJafrikan wrote: »Wow! The fact is, once you put something in a game, doesn't matter what it is, there's a good possibility the community will backlash if you take it back out.
Overpowered weapons/items in any game happen, and will be considered nooby. Yes, it's in the game, but it's pretty damn obvious that it's overpowered way beyond the point it should be.
Let me know if you ever see someone using the Tactical Shield in cs1.6 without immediately being kicked for being a noob.
Yes, Echo5 is still for NA pubs, but the m12s and scar-l shouldn't be used in-game because of how obviously overpowered they are.
