Worth sending a support ticket?

can i send a support ticket trying to change my name and this came up or will i just be denied.

    depends... if it is still a used name, like in recent activity then its not worth it...
    if it hasn't been used in say... 3months... why not? :)

    I do clan/profile searches before changing my name anyways....

    Two things are going on here.

    First. Your name was already taken. Use the "exact search" function on the clan site to see if the name was taken.

    Secondly. Your name was a name that was used by you previous in CF. The way the game DB works is that previous names on your account are recorded but aren't released. So if you want to "change back" to a name, it's possible but you have to send in a support ticket.

    There is the outside chance that the characters in your chosen name are invalid. We'll look in to what error message is displayed and make that better.


    Lastly, this is the wrong forum for this. Try the tech support forum (thread will be moved there)
