okay, guys, shut up about how i'm crap, i took me 2 months to reach staff sarg because i had exams and stuff, and took a month break. I'm 2nd luit nao and probably wipe your ass in GM and sniping.
KDR SERVERS- no. Just no.
Arguments for the captains and such hacking-you just suck.
to reach 2nd luit WITH HACKS takes around half a year of full out blown playing. Doubtless, you will be banned before that. -

wrong.dont flame over something so simple.rank aint what ppl make it out to be.and it only took me 2 years playing legit no farming to reach major.and yes i have a life.if u cant do it doesnt mean its impossible.this just goes to show what i said.rank doesnt mean the player is mature and skilled to play the game without qq'n or abusing vote kik.dont like what ppl reply to your thread then dont make1.our opinions are as valid as yours and we did it without the insults -

...you guys really don't read this thread, do you? And stop arguing against the point, i only played for 1 year, and i know i'm slow. What i'm asking is for higher ranked servers, or at least higher ranked channels. -

And then you got the farmers so yeah...... I mean it's not a bad suggestion but if your wanting a server for just rank, it really is pointless. I think the developers should focus more on the in game content rather then the Servers because with this community right now, Servers aren't the problem unless your talking about BR's in a NA Game but that is a whole different story. Haha. -

but how about having servers that are from Master sergeant upwards? and maybe even 2nd luit upwards? that way, the "pros" can feast on the farmers, and most likely the hackers will be banned before 2nd luit. and even if there are hackers there, most 2nd luits/ master sargeants know where the F11 button is.

yea we are reading.and if u had read it was a mature discussion.no 1 was insulting the other til u came and began calling ppl stupid.ppl are allowed to discuss the topic of the thread as long as its done tastefully.your acting just like a kid pouting to get his way.your way doesnt make it the right way. why open a thread if u dont want people to discuss any pro's and con's to the topic.alot of ppl will agree to it and some wont.that doesnt make your ideas any more valid then others.it is the forums not a blog.if u cant take others opinions then dont open a thread -

An hacker can have a 2.0 kdr after 1 game and thereafter, and doesn't really care about being banned.
An high rank, LT up, do generally care about their account it takes time to get to that rank and they don't want to get banned, "accounts can be farmed" well that's better than farming others with a VIP which is what KDR restrictions would enable.
Likewise the length of time it takes for an hacker to come back in a rank restricted server is hrmm ages. -

exactly.this idea really wont improve the game any.so many other issues should be addressed 1st b4 something like adding new servers.unless its for the br's lol like u said -

not really. so many have multiple accounts so u cant say they always worry bout their main being banned.and with the farming problem so rampant it really wont take them long to get back to the rank.also the delay on ppl getting banned is so long the haks act brazen about it anymore.if your gonna base a server on a rank which can be obtain thru less then honorable means then whats the difference if it was kdr based.both can be easily obtained in a hurry and still doesnt assure anyone the games in this rank restricted server will have less problems then an open server. -
I think this idea is worth a try. I was even thinking about suggesting it. In regards to hackers, this idea is a good one. Look at echo 8, I get kicked for using SPOP and my m4 gold. Well seasoned and high ranking players have allot at stake when hacking (more time and money invested). Furthermore, high ranking players playing other hackers are more likely to report such abuse as they are aware of the proper protocol. This game has been around long enough to support a 2nd LT or higher rank server as most legit players have achieved such a rank or higher. It certainly doesn't hurt anything if it doesn't work.

could be but i wouldnt be lead to think it will solve the problems ppl are trying to get away from by creating it. if you just wanna make it so high ranks compete for fun vs each other ok yea. but to think that its being made for "pros" to play vs each other isnt.rank dont mean pro.any rank can be a skiiled player behind it

You ARE not discussing the pros and cons, you're saying i can reach staff sargeant in 2 hours, 2 months, whatever. that is NOT the topic.
I can take opinions, such as hackers levelling fast, but i doubt they will reach that kind of level before being banned.
You are just talking about every other THING than rank level. such as i level slow.

I think that making a server with a master sargent+ restriction in place is a good idea, becuase most hackers start new accounts with the hacks just incase there main gets banned. And even with there hacks they will take weeks to get to the master sargent rank. And im assuming that should be enough time for xtrap to block these hacks being used.
And for the people saying rank doesnt mean you have more skills and that seperating high and low ranks is a bad idea, your wrong becuase there still will be servers where everyone of any rank can play so that shouldnt bother you it is of the choice of the individual if he decides not to play with low ranks, and there is trainee rank server so i dont see why there cant be a master sargent+ aswel. -

dont get all bent out of shape over some1 opinion.and if u can read my sig im a major ty.have some manners its an opinion not a law.u posted and im just discussing not forcing it down your throat.it has some good points but i just dont think it will solve alot and i also think that rank doesnt equal pro. -

Rank doesn't equal pro, but hackers are more common in the lower ranks. YES, there are some random silver bar hacks, but that's once in a blue moon. -

I've been playing after the beta. 1 year and a half I think.
been lil over 2 years i have played.the idea that rank restricted servers will let "pros" play and will keep qq'ers and ha.ks out is wrong.there is no magical level thats reached where ppl stop qq'n and wont ha.k anyone at any level can and does this.pro is based on the players skills and attitude not there rank since ranks can be farmed in months.i know plenty of sgt that whoop up on majors including myself. -

if its just to have high level matches for show then yes its good idea.its not that its a bad 1 ok. and once again its just my opinion not forcing u to accept it.withh all the problems this game has this shouldnt be viewed as a solution to it.yea there more common but not limited.also it will motivate more ppl to farm to be able to play there -

But it would decrease the amount of frustration, i never said it would eradicate completely. I would feel safer with a room full of well known silvers than with a room full of smiley's in these times. -

I completely agree with a 2nd lieutenant/master sergeant and higher server even though some players can farm their rank. If they don’t’ have the skill to back up their rank, they will soon give up playing there since they will end up being constantly owned. Chances of hackers getting kicked should also be a bit higher too. Where it comes to whiny babies I don’t think it will solve anything.
I don’t think farming is rampant. Only a minority of players have the resources to be able to farm all day. And how many players have the patience to do that? The absolute majority of players are master sergeant and lower.
Another reason why I agree to this suggestion is the same reason I play on UK4. Since it’s rank restricted there is a much lower chance of playing with newbies. I’m pretty sure that the overall skill level in UK4 is higher than the rest of the UK servers.
